This section is to provide information, opportunities and experience to students of all cultures and to support the University's mission of respecting individual differences and to ensure success to students from diverse cultures.

Diversity Publications

Career Services has many diversity related career publications for your job search and career development. The books listed below are located in the Career Services Career Café (Corr Hall, rm. 103) and must remain within the Café. The magazines listed below are located in the hallway outside of the Career Café and are free and available for students and alumni.

COSD: Career Opportunities for Students with Disabilities - COSD is a unique consortium composed of large and small universities, well - known national employers and US Government agencies focused on the career employment of college graduates with disabilities.

Entry Point! 2003 Internships for Students with Disabilities - A program of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) offering Outstanding Internship Opportunities for Students with Disabilities in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, and some fields of Business.

U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy, Workforce Recruitment Program - Aims to provide summer work experience, and in some cases full-time employment, for college students with disabilities. The program develops partnerships with other federal agencies, each of whom makes a commitment to provide summer jobs and a staff recruiter. Each year, recruiters interview about 1,500 students with disabilities at college and university campuses across the nation, and develop a data base listing the qualifications of each student.

U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy - ODEP provides national leadership to increase employment opportunities for adults and youth with disabilities while striving to eliminate barriers to employment. Site includes job links, and many resources and programs.
