Global Human Resource Certification
Preparation
Villanova University offers an intensive 10 week program designed
primarily for individuals seeking certification as a Global Professional
in Human Resources (GPHR®) featuring the SHRM Global Learning System®,
the new standard for Global HR. This course is offered in full partnership
with the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM ) and various local SHRM chapters
in the Greater Philadelphia region.
The HR Certification Institute Body of Knowledge will undergo a
major update in 2011. Their eligibility requirements for certification will also change in 2011.

About the Program
HR has changed in the past decade, expanding across borders, cultures
and economies. HR professionals earning an HR Certification Institute’s
Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR®) certification will be
prepared to assume responsibilities beyond U.S. regulations – and
possess the capability to develop global and cross-border HR Policies.
Earning your GPHR® certification shows that you have demonstrated
mastery of the international HR body of knowledge and have accepted the
challenge to stay informed of new developments in the international HR
field.
The course helps prepare participants for the HR Certification
Institute's national examination for the Global Professional in Human Resources
(GPHR®). Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive the
certificate in Global Professional Human Resource Management from Villanova University,
along with 3.5 Continuing Education Units. For those taking the course for
recertification purposes, successful completion will result in the awarding of 35
HR recertification credit hours.

Eligibility Requirements
Testing is offered at more then 250 Thomson Prometric testing
centers in the U.S. and Canada, and 116 internationally. Please

Course Fees, Billing/Payments, Registration and Cancellation Policy
Fees:
A course investment of $1500 for SHRM National members, and $1550 for
non-members includes the SHRM Global Learning System® print modules, online
learning software and access to the onlince Resource Center, instructor
handouts, mastery tests and 30 hours of classroom instruction.

Billing:
Students and authorized users are able to view billing statements and
make secured payments electronically. You can also print official
invoices for self and employer use. Once you receive your confirmation
and VU ID #, you may log onto
V-Bill to view/pay your bill electronically. Bills
are updated the 1st, 10th and 20th of every month.
Payment:
Payments are due no later than the first day of class. This requirement
applies to all students, including those who register too late to
receive a bill. Please TERMS of BILLING on registration page.

Cancellation Policy:
