Nurse Manager Series was designed for nurses who may be considering management as a career change or veteran managers who are
looking to update their management skills. These courses give current information on selected topics related to nursing management such as: creating a budget, scheduling, time
management, team building and emotional intelligence.

Professional Educator Series has been created to help nursing faculty (academic, clinical or staff development) maintain current standards of teaching excellence. Issues related to teaching such as: developing behavioral objectives, mentoring, assessing competence and complying with the TEACH ACT will be discussed.

Clinical Series: Created for nurses / practitioners to maintain theoretical competency with various clinical skills- such as peripheral IV
insertion, performing assessments, etc. Formats include lecture, power point and video demonstrations.

Basic Pharmacology Review Series: designed to help you review principles of pharmacology. Whether you have been out of
practice for a while or wanting to review for an upcoming certification test, you will receive up to date information
on a multitude of topics related to pharmacology. These modules were recorded at live programs and taught by a
practicing PharmD. Utilize this information to make evidenced-based therapeutic decisions. view offerings and to register
Legal Series: taught by a nurse attorney, has been designed to expand nurses' knowledge of
issues related to the law, risk management and nursing practice. This program was adapted
from a pre- recorded all day seminar. The speaker occasionally will make references to

Pediatric Series: designed for pediatric nurses or nurses interested in changing focus to a pediatric
specialty. This series will keep you updated on wide variety of topics all relating to the
pediatric nursing such as: family centered care, current issues in age related pain
management and evidence-based practice.

Psychology Series: Created to introduce nurses (and patients) to new trends in the mind / body connections.
Energy psychology techniques for modifying behavior are discussed. Future topics will include: counseling
techniques for nurses, the psychology of menopause and dealing with post traumatic stress disorder, professional

Oncology Series: This course has been developed by a retired radiation oncologist with 50 years of
