About the Program
The APICS CSCP program will equip you with the knowledge and skills
demanded of supply chain leaders in all sectors of the worldwide
economy, including service, manufacturing, and government.
Individuals will review designing a successful supply chain strategy;
effectively managing supplier and customer relationships; recognizing how
logistics, technology, and data can enhance performance; and how to seamlessly
incorporate all processes to increase customer satisfaction and improve the
organization’s bottom line.
To earn the APICS CSCP designation, candidates must meet eligibility
requirements and pass the APICS CSCP exam. To help you get started, APICS has
developed the APICS CSCP Learning System, a comprehensive professional
development and exam preparation program. It combines print materials with
online components to deliver a customized learning experience. This easy-to-use
system is self-directed but can be combined with an instructor-led course if you
prefer a classroom setting.
Upon completion of the course, candidates will receive a certificate for 3.9 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) from Villanova University.

Exam Eligibility Information |
|
The APICS CSCP examination is available to individuals who
have relevant work experience and education. To Be
eligible for the APICS CSCP exam, a candidate must meet one of
the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus two years of
related business experience.
- CPIM, CFPIM, CIRM, or C.P.M. designation plus two years
of related business experience.
- Five years of related business experience.

APICS CSCP Testing |
The 2008 testing date is June 21.
Candidates must submit an application documenting their
eligibility to take the APICS CSCP exam. The APICS CSCP
Eligibility Application for the exam will be posted on the APICS
website when the application period begins.

Testing within the U.S., Canada, or Mexico
APICS has contracted with the testing vendor, ACT, to serve
customers in the United States. The APICS CSCP exams will
be administered using a linear testing approach. Candidates
answer a predetermined number of questions to assess their
knowledge in key areas. The exam is in paper and pencil
format. For information on exam locations, registration and

APICS has
contracted with Certification Administrators to serve
customers testing internationally. Contact the

Instructors
Art Hudson, CPIM, CSCP
Throughout his career, Art Hudson has managed small and large-scale
manufacturing and service operations. Learning to compete in a world
economy, Art has dedicated his efforts to Process Excellence, Business
Process Improvement and work class response to customer needs. He
addressed these challenges by establishing quality initiatives,
strategic and operational plans, handling organization change, improving
productivity, and containing cost. These companies include Mobil Oil
Corp. and Tyco Electronics. He is currently the President and co-owner
of Rapid Circuits, a circuit board manufacturing company addressing the
prototype and preproduction requirements of their customer base. Art
earned an engineering degree form the U.S. Military academy at West
Point and a MBA from New York University.
Lee Zimmerman, CFPIM, CIRM, CSCP
Lee is NORAM Material and Logistics Manager for Gemalto, a global
supplier of smart and bank cards for financial services and
identification systems. She previously held the position of Director of
Quality and Engineering for Rutt Handcrafted Cabinetry. Lee has over 20
years of progressive experience in several mid-sized companies in the
Philadelphia area. Through her career, she has worked in a variety of
functions within operations management including: quality, engineering,
purchasing, production control, shop supervision, warehousing and MRP
installation. Lee has a BA from Case Western Reserve in Statistics and a
MBA from The Wharton School in Operations Management. An active board
member and volunteer of the Philadelphia Area Network of APICS since
1985, Lee has held the position of President four times. She has also
been involved in teaching their Manufacturing Fundamentals and CPIM
courses.
Course Fee
The course is $1950.00 for APICS members, and $2050.00 for non-members.
Registration fees include APICS CSCP Learning System manuals, learning system
online software, instructor handouts, and 39 hours of classroom instruction.

Cancellation
Cancellations must be in writing and received by the Office of
Continuing Studies before the first class. No refunds are granted once
the class begins.
Billing
Students and authorized users are able to view billing statements and
make secured payments electronically. You can also print official
invoices for self and employer use. Once you receive your confirmation
and VU ID #, you may log onto
www.bursar.villanova.edu to view/pay your bill electronically. Bills
are updated the 1st and 15th of every month.
Payment
Payments are due no later than the first day of class. This requirement
applies to all students, including those who register too late to
