The major in Information Systems is ideal for adult students who wish to make use of technology to effectively meet the needs of a business, industry and/or organization. Too often individuals have a myopic technology view or business specific knowledge. This major will develop your skills to bridge an important gap needed in today's evolving and maturing marketplace.

Villanova recognizes the value of a BIS in Information Systems and is now providing students a unique opportunity to accelerate their education with a combined BIS/MS in Software Engineering.

The Information Systems program curriculum requires a combination of core courses and courses from the Department of Computing Sciences and Villanova's School of Business.

The Information System courses listed above include required courses (those with check marks) and elective courses (those with a dot).
