A lifelong commitment to learning is one of the hallmarks of all great people.
Villanova offers hundreds of interesting and exciting classes each semester. The
Part-Time Studies program has a special, non-matriculated student status that can
allow you to take classes, just for the joy of learning and participating.
Non-matriculated students seeking to enrich themselves at Villanova take on many
different looks:
Visiting students seeking Villanova credits
Many of our Part-Time studies students are actually enrolled in another university
but are taking classes at Villanova in order to transfer those credits. For example,
Villanova has special accelerated summer courses that are popular with students
who live locally, but go to college further away. You can take the classes you need
and transfer the credits.
Note that if you are enrolled in another college and want to take courses for
credit during the fall and spring semesters, you must have a letter from the Dean
or Department Chairperson of your college indicating that your are a student in
good standing and that you have permission to take courses at Villanova for transfer
back to your college.
Senior Citizens Personal Enrichment Program
Senior citizens (65 or older) who are interested in taking courses for
personal enrichment but not for credit can enroll for classes through our Senior
Citizens Enrichment Program. Whether it is philosophy, theology, microeconomics or theater, Villanova's classes
offer a high quality, enriching experience. Look through the University's course
catalog and find something wonderful. We prize our adult learners because you bring
your rich experience and thoughtful point of view into the classroom. And you get
to share in the vibrancy of young minds exploring new territory with you. Please
review the attached
Personal Enrichment Program Guidelines that have been established to
facilitate the advising and registration process.
High school students
High school students with superior qualifications may apply to take classes at
Villanova. You must have a letter of permission from your guidance counselor or
principal to submit along with your application. Villanova normally seeks to discourage
high school students from taking college courses too early. But every year there
are some outstanding high school students who are clearly ready to begin transitioning
to a college curriculum. We offer special academic counseling to assist the high
school students that we admit to the Part-Time Studies program in selecting their
courses.
The Part-Time Studies program offers special academic counseling about what courses
best suit your needs and how to make sure that your credits will be accepted before
your take the class.

admissions process and fill out an on-line
application today to begin attending Villanova courses.
