Dean's Permission Application Process

Steps necessary to apply to Villanova's Part-Time Studies to take course at Villanova while still enrolled at another academic institution:

  1. Obtain an Application Form. This form can be reviewed and completed on-line, it can be downloaded, or it can be sent to you upon request.
  2. Complete all questions on the Application Form. In particular, be sure that you have indicated:
    • your social security number (if you apply on-line, you will need to phone the Office of Part-Time Studies with your social security number)
    • your phone number(s) and email address
    • if you have applied to Villanova before and when
    • if you have attended Villanova before and when
    • your entry status to Villanova
    • the program for which you are applying
  3. Submit the Application Form to the Office of Part-Time Studies. Submission can be done on-line, via fax to 610-519-7910, or can be sent to:

        800 Lancaster Avenue
        Villanova , PA 19085
  4. Submit a letter from the Dean or Department Chairperson of your home academic institution to the Office of Part-Time Studies. The letter must indicating that you are:
    • in good academic standing
    • and have permission to take courses at Villanova University

Note: The $25.00 application fee is waived for all students applying with Dean's Permission to Villanova University.
