Career Services' NovaNet: A
Database of Mentors at Your Fingertips
NovaNet,
a mentor database, provides you with the contact information for alumni and employers
who are interested in helping you on your journey of career exploration. Whether
you are utilizing the database to explore options for your major, or you are starting
the job search process, NovaNet can be a source of excellent information. While
the mentors are not in the database to make job offers, their assistance often provides
students not only with information to help make a decision, but additional contacts
and ideas for the exploration process.
Networking
is perhaps the most powerful way to find a position and/or gain knowledge about
a specific industry and with NovaNet you have an entire network of contacts at your
fingertips.
NovaNet is part of Career Services' GoNOVA program, which
also houses the University's job and internship postings and the On Campus Recruiting
program. You can contact the University's Career Services' Office by stopping
by 106 Corr Hall or calling 610.519.4060.
