Coordinator, Center for the Study of Global Health and Public
Health/Community Health Faculty Position
The College of Nursing, Villanova University, invites applications for the
Coordinator of the Center for the Study of Global Health. This newly developed
Center will provide the focus for education, inquiry and special projects in
global health within the College of Nursing, as well as serve as a resource for
the University, the professional healthcare community and the public on
global/international health issues and concerns. The College of Nursing has a
well established history of educating international students and providing
global health experiences for its students in a variety of international
settings.
Candidates for the position must have an earned doctorate in public health,
nursing or a related field and meet the requirements for appointment to a
faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates
should demonstrate experience in global health initiatives, teaching in their
field and potential in research, publications and service. Successful candidates
will be expected to coordinate Center projects and programs, develop an array of
global health activities and secure funding for Center projects; teach at both
the undergraduate and graduate levels, as appropriate, and participate in
College and University initiatives and support the mission of the University.

Part-Time Clinical Faculty Positions
New MSN grads and other MSN-prepared clinicians — looking for a flexible way to
exercise your expertise and teaching skills? Become part-time clinical faculty
in our BSN program. Due to expanded curricular offerings, the College seeks
part-time faculty as follows:
Spring 2009 – Clinical faculty are needed in the area of Home Health. Clinical days and times are usually Mon. and Wed.
7am -1pm or 8am - 2pm.
An MSN is required. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Salaries are competitive. Tuition remission benefits for self, spouse, or
children are accrued on a prorated basis.
