A post-master's certificate program is available to students who already have a master's degree in nursing. These programs allow you to pursue advanced education and additional specialization and to prepare for certification in selected areas. The program may include course work to re-establish a base of knowledge in a particular area as well as courses in advanced practice not included in the applicant's original degree program.
