Where do you see Villanova going next?

To many alumni, Villanova today may appear different from when they were students. Our academic offerings have grown more robust, our national reputation has soared, and our admissions profile reflects a University that is increasingly sought after by talented students, faculty and staff from across the country and around the world. Most recently, we have expanded our physical footprint with the addition of the Cabrini Campus, and we have announced a merger with Rosemont College. And, remarkably, we now count a pope among our own. Amid all these exciting changes and accomplishments, though, the core of who we are as an Augustinian Catholic institution has remained unchanged.
These milestones speak to our deep roots in our mission, and to the restless spirit of all Villanovans. We are true to these roots, yet we always strive to become the best versions of ourselves. One powerful expression of that restlessness is our commitment to making Villanova more financially accessible to talented and deserving students. Financial aid is just one part of the equation when it comes to accessibility in education, but it’s vital. We are committed to ensuring that every student called to Villanova has the opportunity to be a part of it, just as we’ve done since our founding in 1842.
While change is constant, our foundation remains firm. What defines Villanova’s strength is not just what we build or achieve—it’s the enduring connection to our Augustinian Catholic mission and values. That mission guides every decision we make. It fuels our efforts to support students in attending and thriving here. It drives us to enhance the spaces where we learn, live and grow. And it inspires our pursuit of research and scholarship that serves the common good.
This is how Villanova will move forward—boldly, faithfully and with purpose. And it’s how we will continue to live out our mission, now and always.
