Graduate students may select a master's degree track depending on career interests and professional development goals. All are targeted to meet specific program outcomes. Tracks range from 39-55 credits, which include core, clinical, role development and elective courses. These tracks include: adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, family nurse practitioner, pediatric nurse practitioner, and nursing education.
Post-master's certificate programs for each track are available to students who already have a master's degree in nursing.
APPLICATION NOTICE: If you have a pending application (for ANY term and ANY program – MSN or Post Master’s Certificate in AGNP, FNP, PNP, NED or DNP- NA) please make every effort to have it competed it by April 1st.
After that date, Villanova University is changing online application systems and you will need to REAPPLY (application fee waived) using our new online application.
Please note that while the deadline for Fall 2018 would typically be July 1st, since our current online application system will be phased out just after the April 1st deadline, we would strongly encourage you to please try to get all your application materials in by April 1st so your completed application can be reviewed by our Admissions Committee. If your Application is incomplete as of the April 1st, you will be required to REAPPLY (application fee waived) in our new Online Application System.
