Monday Morning Mentor

A weekly 20-minute online program that focuses on relevant teaching issues and offers practice-based approaches. Each session is available for faculty on demand, 24/7 for one week. Weekly sessions aren’t archived, but transcripts are available through VITAL.

Access to the Monday Morning Mentor (MMM) Series is available through the Teaching Professor Digital Library dashboard. Faculty can access the weekly programs by creating an account and registering under the institution's group subscription.

September 7-13: AI Tools for Educators: Possible Applications for Teaching

How might faculty purposefully apply AI tools to their instructional and administrative work? This program introduces free education-specific AI platforms, such as Brisk and Teacher Server AI, that may lend support in course planning, quiz creation, feedback, and tutoring assistance. Faculty will become familiar with a framework for evaluating AI tools to determine their effectiveness and limitations given the disciplinary teaching context.
