Closer to home in the College of Engineering, there are opportunities to join discipline-specific student organizations, industry associations and honor societies, as well as engineering competition teams.

International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering
Villanova chapter of the international organization ISPE, which promotes the pharmaceutical industry as well as networking and professional insight to students. We aim to provide professional development and student community building for Villanova students.

A student branch of the professional organization designed to reach out to minorities in the areas of engineering and applied sciences.

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers promotes professional awareness by means of social and intellectual interactions on campus, within our qualified region and nationally. We strive to increase the number of Hispanic and minority students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields (STEM).

Engineering Student Council
A student organization that serves as the liaison between the students and the College administration.

Peers Enhancing Educational Resources for Students (PEERS)
A Villanova Engineering student organization providing peer mentoring to all students, with the emphasis on first-year and transitional students.

Engineering Well-Being Committee
Dedicated to fostering a mutually supportive environment of wellness for students, faculty and staff in which all members feel a sense of belonging to an inclusive and healthy engineering community

Amateur Radio
Maintains a radio station available to all licensed students, faculty, and alumni; educate students about amateur radio; prepare for emergency situations and support members of the Villanova community in case of emergency; and learn through projects and experiments.

Baja Nova
Baja Nova’s mission is to empower students to think critically and act compassionately as they design and build a single-seat all-terrain vehicle. Similar to the popular NovaRacing team, Baja Nova members collaborate to design, build, and test a Baja SAE competitive vehicle. The Baja SAE circuit uses an internal Combustion Engine and is built to race on off-road trails.

Chem E Car
Engages college students in designing and constructing a car powered by a chemical energy source, that will safely carry a specified load over a given distance and stop.

CubeSat Club
CubeSats are nanosatellites—small, lightweight satellites that send telemetry information over radio signals received on earth by a ground station. CubeSat Club members learn about space science and engineering, orbital mechanics, energy production via solar cells, and more.

Activities: Building simulators, assisting with the freshman CubeSat mini-design projects, earning amateur radio licenses and ham radio callsigns, presenting at conferences and conventions, STEM outreach

NovaRacing Formula SAE

Theme Park Engineering
The Theme Park Engineering Club at Villanova University introduces students to the world of theme park engineering and themed entertainment. By combining technical innovation with creativity, the club explores how engineering, design, and storytelling intersect to create immersive experiences, highlighting industry staples like Disney, Universal, and Six Flags in their creation processes. Open to students of all majors, the club fosters a welcoming community where members can learn, collaborate, and pursue their passion for themed entertainment.

Villanova Robotics
The Robotic Clubs mission is to teach about and create robotics to compete in competitions. Club members learn about circuitry, soldering, mechanical physics, CAD design, and team collaboration.
