STUDY ABROAD FOR ENGINEERING MAJORS
The College of Engineering provides you with opportunities to become a global citizen, contributing to the betterment of communities around the world, broadening your perspective and appreciation for cultural diversity, and ultimately differentiating you in the job market.
Education Abroad
According to the Institute of International Education, only 5% of U.S. engineering majors study abroad. At Villanova University, that figure is an impressive 24%. Individual departments have mapped out course selections to enable students to take advantage of study abroad opportunities, whether for a summer, a semester or an entire academic year. Your faculty advisor, along with the Office of Education Abroad (OEA), will be happy to work with you to make your international education experience a reality. Study abroad MAPs (major advising pages) are also available for each engineering major.
Among the opportunities available for engineering students:
- Yearlong or semester programs studying in Ireland, France or the United Kingdom
- Summer programs exploring architecture alongside St. Thomas of Villanova in Spain or St. Augustine in Italy
- May terms in Germany or Australia
