September is Suicide Prevention Month
September marks National Suicide Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness, honor lives lost, and share the message that suicide is preventable. At the Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women's Leadership, we recognize that advancing women’s leadership also means fostering communities of care, resilience, and inclusion. Guided by our four principles—education, advocacy, research, and empowerment—we stand committed to reducing stigma, elevating conversations about mental health, and ensuring that all voices, especially those too often marginalized, are heard and supported. By uniting around this month of reflection and action, we reaffirm our belief that through awareness, compassion, and collective leadership, lives can be saved.

Woman/Immigrant/Innovator/Entrepreneur/Educator/Saint: 10/14 at 5:00 P.M. ET
University members are invited to a screening of the film Cabrini in Scarpa Hall, followed by a Q&A with executive producer J. Eustace Wolfington. The Scarpa Center for Entrepreneurship and Law and the St. Thomas More Society co-sponsor the event.
