COMBINED BS/MS IN BIOLOGY
The BS/MS Program in Biology provides exceptional students with the opportunity to complete both an undergraduate bachelor's and a graduate master's degree in approximately five years. The program is excellent preparation for any student interested in pursuing further graduate or professional work.

Prerequisites
- Biology major with sophomore academic status
- Completion of Biology courses through at least General Biology II
- Overall GPA of 3.3 or higher
- Biology AP Exam score of 4 or higher or completion of 8 credits of college-level General Biology
Application Requirements
- Unofficial undergraduate transcripts (uploaded on the Academic History page)
- One letter of recommendation from a Villanova science professor
- Interview with admissions committee
Application Deadlines
- To begin graduate courses next fall: March 15
- To begin graduate courses next spring: October 15
Continuation Requirements
- Overall GPA and science course GPA of 3.0 or higher. One-semester probationary period for applicants who fall below this threshold
- Completion of written and oral thesis proposal by the end of the applicant's eighth semester
