As automation and AI continue to reshape the workplace, HR professionals must analyze information, uncover insights and communicate findings to effectively influence decision-makers. In this session, Dr. Jamison will share practical approaches to data visualization and storytelling to help HR professionals strengthen recommendations, gain leadership buy-in and improve workplace outcomes. Kelly Jones increases business impact by coaching leaders at every career stage to communicate with confidence, build meaningful relationships and lead with influence. As HR professionals take on increasingly strategic responsibilities, the ability to establish credibility and engage senior leadership has never been more important. In this session, Jones will explore practical models of executive presence, personal brand and leadership communication, and demonstrate how attendees can incorporate them in meetings, presentations and everyday workplace interactions. December 8: Workplace Investigations with Keith Black, AWI-CH

Keith Black, AWI-CH, brings a unique perspective to workplace investigations through his experience as both a labor and employment attorney and a CHRO. Workplace investigations are among HR's most complex responsibilities, requiring professionals to balance legal considerations, organizational priorities and employee trust. In this session, Black will break down the anatomy of an effective workplace investigation, including planning investigations, conducting interviews, assessing credibility and documenting findings. He will also share practical strategies for managing sensitive employee relations issues and fostering workplace cultures grounded in respect, trust, honesty and empathy. Attendees will leave with actionable frameworks and best practices to conduct more effective investigations, productively navigate difficult situations and reduce organizational risk.
 

2027: Level Up HR This annual conference is hosted by Villanova's Graduate Program in Human Resource Development. Active HR practitioners, researchers, influencers and Villanova professors present on topical challenges and opportunities for the human resources profession.
