September 6 (7:40pm): Email to Villanova Community

September 6 (6:41pm): Suspect is now in custody and was apprehended off campus. Campus lockdown is now lifted. ALL CLEAR.

September 6 (6:28pm): Residents of Bryn Mawr Villas should be advised that the primary search area is currently focused near Airdale and Lancaster ave. Please exercise caution at your off-campus residence.

September 6 (6:19pm): All bus and shuttle service suspended until lockdown lifted.

September 6 (6:10pm): Radnor and Lower Merion police are searching for area of County Line Road and Lancaster Ave. for a suspected attacker in a stabbing incident which occurred in Lower Merion Township. The individual is reported as armed and dangerous. The campus has been ordered to lockdown as a precautionary measure due to the proximity of the search.

September 6 (5:56pm): Local Police activity Off campus. Shelter in place. Await instructions. No imminent danger.
