GENERAL QUESTIONS
Families should plan to park in the I-1 garage. Should the lot fill, you will be directed to the next available parking lot on campus. There will be no charge for parking during Family Weekend.
Yes! Each of our lots and garages has spaces designated for accessible parking. As long as your car has the appropriate state issued tags, you are welcome to use these spaces throughout the weekend.
Tailgating is only permitted on campus during Tailgate on the Green on Mendel Field. Tailgating is not permitted in other areas of campus, including parking garages and lots. Click here for Tailgating Information and Regulations.
Football tickets are non-refundable.
Yes! All dining facilities are open during Family Weekend. If eating in Dougherty, Donahue or St. Mary’s Dining Halls, parents/caregivers and children under 12 dine for free when accompanying their student with a meal plan.

FOOTBALL TAILGATE ON THE GREEN
Tailgate on the Green begins at 11 a.m. and concludes at 2 p.m. Tent hosts are responsible for bringing their own food, beverage and cleanup.
All are welcome to enjoy the day at Tailgate on the Green whether you have secured an individual tent or not. Our Football HQ Tent, surrounded by the smaller tents, is open to enjoy snacks, drinks and games. Beer, wine and seltzers will be available for purchase by those 21+.
Yes, tent hosts may bring their own alcohol into this space; however, kegs, hard liquor and common-source alcohol containers are prohibited.
Tent hosts may check in and drop off items for Tailgate on the Green 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.
On Saturday, when the designated tent registrant checks in and picks up their packet of information, they will be given their tent number.
When the tent host checks in to Tailgate on the Green, they will receive an envelope with wristbands.
This year, Tailgate on the Green ends at 2 p.m. Tent hosts are responsible for cleaning up and moving their tent supplies to their parked car. Tents will be taken down during the game and items left behind will be considered trash.
For safety reasons, we do not permit open flames on Mendel Field during Tailgate on the Green.
No, electricity is not available in the individual tents during Tailgate on the Green.
