INTERCULTURAL GREEK COUNCIL

Our Intercultural Greek Council at Villanova serves our Culturally-Based Fraternal Organizations (CBFO) community on campus. IGC includes organizations from the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), National Multicultural Greek Council (NMGC), and National Asian/Pacific Islander Panhellenic Association (NAPA) fraternities and sororities at Villanova.

HOW TO JOIN

All students must have completed at least one full semester at Villanova or have transferred to Villanova with at least one semester of credits to be eligible for recruitment or intake.

Students hoping to participate in the recruitment process must have at least a 2.7 cumulative GPA. Although this is the minimum GPA required to participate in recruitment, it does not guarantee membership—many chapters maintain their own GPA requirements.

All students must also be in good disciplinary standing with the University to participate in recruitment or intake processes.

PNMs must also complete a bystander intervention training through the Office of Health Promotion before participating in any formal recruitment or intake process.

The individual fraternities and sororities within IGC host their own recruitment and/or intake processes at different times throughout the year. First year students, are not elligible for any intake or orientation processes until the Spring semester.
