Overview

In alignment with TechNova 2026, Villanova has engaged to review the current state of the ERP and the existing ecosystem. This engagement will help in understanding future needs, both functional and technical. 

What is Project Compass?

Project Compass is an engagement with Moran Consulting to review the current state of ERP at Villanova University. Through capability sessions conducted with subject matter experts across the University, we will support an objective RFP and evaluation process for ERP software and systems implementation services. This will lay the groundwork for future change management, process improvement, and resource planning efforts to ensure that Villanova is well prepared for transformation.

Why Project Compass?

  • Understand and profile the current state of the systems and data analytics environments
  • Identify anticipated needs, including the definition of functional and technical capabilities
  • Identify current system environment and Banner utilization profile, including duplicate systems

Timeline

Phase 1 of the project will begin in March 2026 and will be completed by October 2026.
