2026 Wireless Network Refresh
Overview
Villanova University will complete a major wireless infrastructure refresh across campus in the summer and fall of 2026. This initiative will replace current wireless access points with modern technology to better support the growing demands of teaching, learning, research, and campus life.
The project includes upgrading more than 1,600 wireless access points across 45 buildings, improving performance, reliability, and coverage for students, faculty, and staff. Work is scheduled during the summer window to reduce disruption to the academic year.
This effort supports TechNova 2026 goals by enhancing digital infrastructure, enabling exceptional student experiences, and strengthening the University’s ability to support modern academic and administrative needs.
