Welcome Villanova Class of 2030!
Dear Students and Families,
Congratulations and welcome to Villanova University!
We are excited to welcome you to our community and support you as you begin your Villanova journey. Technology plays an important role in nearly every aspect of University life, from accessing course materials and communicating with faculty to connecting with classmates and campus resources.
At University Technology Services, we are committed to providing innovative, reliable and secure technology services that support your academic success. Through TechNova 2026, Villanova's technology strategic plan, we continue to invest in the digital tools, services and infrastructure that enhance the student experience.
As you prepare for your arrival on campus, I encourage you to review the forthcoming New Student Guide, which contains important information to help you get started with Villanova technology. It will be available in late July.
I would also like to highlight a few important items:
- Complete your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enrollment using Microsoft Authenticator. MFA is required and helps protect your Villanova account, personal information and University data.
- Please continue to work through your new student checklist, which can be found on MyNova.
- Review the student toolkit, which provides essential guides, like how to set up your account, computer requirements, and additional tools and tips to help you navigate campus technology with ease.
- Download Microsoft's Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive, and more) and is available to the Villanova community at no charge.
We also encourage you to learn about cybersecurity and the steps you can take to protect your personal information and digital identity. Developing good security habits now will help you throughout your time at Villanova and beyond.
