March 30 - April 5: Structuring Virtual Office Hours to Promote Student Use
Why might some students engage deeply during office hours, while others rarely attend? This program discusses why traditional office hours—especially online—are often underutilized and how faculty can redesign them to better align with students’ needs. You will revisit evidence‑based approaches to designing, scheduling, and facilitating virtual office hours that increase student participation, foster connection, and offer meaningful academic support.
