The Augustinian Historical Institute of Villanova University serves as a resource center for the study of the history of the Augustinian Order. Besides maintaining an extensive collection of materials on the history of the Order, we publish scholarly books and articles on these topics along with some studies of St. Augustine.

The Institute is sponsored by the Augustinian North American Provinces and Villanova University. The Institute also maintains connections with the International Institutum Historicum of the Order and various similar institutes within the Order.
