The Gender and Women's Studies program is an interdisciplinary program providing courses and a
minor and a concentration
in Gender and Women's Studies. It is open to students in all degree programs.
Identifying gender as fundamental to the way that men and women understand
themselves, Gender and Women's Studies causes us to rethink
history and culture.
The academic discipline of Gender and Women's Studies continues to transform scholarship and basic assumptions in all areas of the humanities, social sciences, and the professions.

The 21st Annual Elizabeth Cady
Stanton Conference will be held on April 8th, 2010.
It will feature prominent Elizabeth Cady Stanton scholar Dr. Lori Ginzberg as the keynote speaker. The
deadline for submitting papers is Thursday, February 25, 2010, at 4 pm.
