Hardware Services

Technology Support Services - Hardware Group - Provides on-site Hardware Services and Support, Hardware Asset Administration and Printing Support to the entire university.

Our technicians are Dell, HP and Apple certified.

To request Hardware Support, contact the Help Desk directly at support@villanova.edu  or at 610-519-7777 between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday or  enter a request online using Self Service Help Desk.

Helpful Information and Links

Log into EasyVista and enter a quick ticket for computer pickup and the Hardware Department will schedule a time to handle the request. We will remove the hard drives from all computers and destroy the data. The rest of the computer will be recycled through a licensed computer recycler.  

Our New Employee Form will help you get the right equipment, systems access and services for new employees.  

HP printers can be purchased directly from Office Basics. 

To order a printer, you must log into Office Basics through Procurement’s Mercury Commerce site and click on Personal Catalog then select Approved Printers. There you will find a list of pre-approved printers that we have selected for use on campus.  Select the one that best suits your needs and proceed to check-out.

All Villanova Dell products can be purchased by logging onto Procurement’s Mercury Commerce site. Log into Mercury Commerce and create a New Cart/Requisition. Select Dell Inc. from the dropdown menu and click on the search button. This will bring you to Villanova’s Dell Premier Website. You may purchase preselected Dell laptops, desktops and accessories. If you would like a custom configuration please contact the UNIT helpdesk for information at 9-7777 or support@villanova.edu.

Apple has created a site to make purchasing products for Villanova easy. You will need to create an account on Apple’s ecommerce site so that you may make purchases with your Villanova Procurement Card. If you have any questions on how to create your Apple account please contact Cathleen Bradley in the Procurement Department at cathleen.bradley@villanova.edu or at ext. 9-4229

Create a ticket for redeploy equipment in EasyVista. Please list what types of equipment you need, the quantity, and what you will be using it for.
