ONLINE COURSES FOR INCOMING STUDENTS
Incoming students have access to a variety of online courses, two of which are required to be completed before arriving to campus: AlcoholEdu for College and RespectEdu for College.
At Villanova, we hold sacred a community that is welcoming and where all students experience belongingness. Because of this value of Caritas, we ask every incoming student to pause and reflect on how they can nurture a positive, life-giving environment supportive of all students.
Incoming students are required to complete two courses by August 19, 2026: AlcoholEdu for College and RespectEdu for College. In addition to these two courses, students have access to a variety of additional courses designed to support their health and well-being at any time during their first year. Students are encouraged to take as many of these courses as they want.
- Instructions for all online courses will be emailed directly to students’ Villanova e-mail addresses on July 13, 2026.
- If a student does not receive an email invitation to complete these required courses or accidentally deletes the e-mail, a link will be provided on this webpage.
- If you are unable to log in on the landing page, please click on “Forgot Password” and follow the instructions.
- AlcoholEdu for College and RespectEdu for College courses have two parts. Part I is due on August 19, 2026. Part II opens up for each individual student 45 days after they have completed Part I. This means that Part II of each course will open at variable dates, depending on when each student completes Part I.
- All course surveys are strictly confidential. Villanova will only see that students have completed the pre, post and in-course surveys but will not see students’ individual responses.
- Students who are under the age of 18 at the time that they are taking the courses will not be invited to complete any pre, post and in-course surveys, but they will still receive the same course content as all other students who are 18 at the time.
