September is Healthy Nova Month! 

We are planning four weeks of activities to introduce you to a variety of resources and services available to support your health and well-being. Every Healthy Nova Month, we encourage you to explore HOW you want to connect and where technology can help and hinder those connections. September will give you the resources to thrive at Villanova! Check back soon to see what is coming up throughout September, or get a headstart by joining our self-paced digital challenge

OCTOBER

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

During October we educate our community about how to create healthy relationships, spread awareness of resources, support survivors, and unite to prevent violence. Everyone deserves healthy and respectful relationships. Join us at one of the many activities that we have planned this month!

Cat Kits

JOMO Tech Break Workshops
The Joy of Missing Out (JOMO) initiative is dedicated to supporting students in putting their phones down and tuning into themselves and their relationships. Join POWER Community Advocates for a workshop on evaluating the role you want technology to play in your Villanova experience.

Where is the Love? Wednesdays Pet Therapy
Join us almost every Wednesday for an hour of pet therapy. Come relax and decrease your stress with our furry friends from Pals for Life! For exact dates check out our Instagram @villanovahealth.

One Love Escalation Workshop
Learn the warning signs of relationship abuse and work to change the statistics.

QPR Suicide Prevention Training
Join trained facilitators for Question. Persuade. Refer. (QPR) training. Ask a question. Save a life.

Painting with POWER Series
Enjoy a step-by-step painting session and get to know campus resources through facilitated conversation.

Chair Massage Mondays
Free 15-minute chair massages are offered almost every Monday afternoon.

Office of Health Promotion Earns Inaugural 'Ignite Your Strengths' Award for Outstanding Programming

Health Promotion's Cristina Babyak, MPH, Community Well-Being Specialist (above), and Stacy Andes, MA, EdD, Director of Health Promotion, received the first-ever "Ignite Your Strengths Award for Outstanding Programming" in April 2026 for their one-credit course, "Building a Resilience Resume," offered to students through the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
