  • Building Bridges: Dialogue in an Age of Polarization The Mother Cabrini Institute on Immigration, the Dr. Terry Nance Center for Dialogue, and the Office of Resident Life are sponsoring a series of “dialogues” around the issue of immigration in our country. This program will be initiated in three student residences on the Cabrini Campus and is directed towards Villanova sophomore students residing there. The dates for the first round of the dialogues are: Monday, September 21, Tuesday, September 22 and Wednesday, September 23, each at 7 p.m.
  • Canary Islands Immigration Symposium Aligns with Pope Leo Visit The Mother Cabrini Institute on Immigration at Villanova University sponsored a symposium, united to and in solidarity with the focus of the Pope’s visit to the Canary Islands, to continue its initiative of promoting a “global constellation of universities” (in the words of Pope Leo), to lead teaching and research to address critical challenges faced by the world’s migrants and refugees.
  • Corpus Christi Procession of Solidarity Villanova University’s Center for the Common Good and the Mother Cabrini Institute on Immigration walked and prayed in solidarity with the immigrant families during the Feast of Corpus Christi procession in Philadelphia.
