- Poverty and Inequality Speaker Series, Fall 2026 Each month, the Poverty and Inequality Speaker Series brings leading scholars, advocates, policymakers and practitioners to Villanova Law for timely conversations about the legal, policy and social challenges shaping poverty and inequality today. On Thursday, September 24, the inaugural speaker, Danna Casserly ’12, co-executive director of the Pennsylvania Health Law Project, will present "Health Care at a Crossroads: Medicaid, Access and Affordability."
- Red Mass, 10/02 Join the Villanova Law community for the annual Red Mass celebration on Friday, October 2, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Reverend Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD '75 CLAS, president of Villanova University, will preside over the Mass. A complimentary reception will be held immediately following at Scarpa Hall. No RSVP is necessary.
- Pope Leo XIV and the Coming Catholic Decade, 10/20 The Eleanor H. McCullen Center for Law, Religion and Public Policy welcomes George Weigel, distinguished senior fellow for the Ethics and Public Policy Center's Catholic Studies Program.
- What the Law Firm Executive Orders Revealed About Professional Ethics and the Rule of Law, 10/21 The Center for Ethics, Integrity and Compliance welcomes W. Bradley Wendel, the Edwin H. Woodruff Professor of Law at Cornell Law School. He will discuss the executive order against the law firm Perkins Coie, which accused the firm of "dishonest and dangerous activity" related to past political work and diversity initiatives, and its aftermath.

- Where Did Villanova Law Students Complete Their 2026 Summer Externships? Every summer, Villanova Law students gain hands-on legal skills through externships in the United States and even abroad. Many also participate in judicial externships, working alongside judges and court staff to deepen their understanding of the litigation process. These opportunities help students strengthen their legal skills beyond the classroom, explore career paths and prepare for future practice.
- David Worby ’76 Reflects on Decades-Long Career and Historic 9/11 Case David Worby ’76 spent more than 40 years working as a trial lawyer, with specialties ranging from personal injury to contracts to business disputes to zoning. Among his proudest achievements is representing over 10,000 rescue workers affected by toxic exposure during post-9/11 cleanup.
- Welcome, Class of 2029 The class of 2029, hailing from 27 states and five countries outside the US, has recently begun their law school journey. They bring diverse backgrounds and impressive academic credentials from more than 100 undergraduate institutions.
