Residential Outreach
The Center for Residential Ministry within Mission & Ministry works with Residence Life to foster community and create opportunities for personal and spiritual growth within the residence halls and throughout campus.
Just as St. Augustine celebrated friendship as a place to encounter God, our Graduate Ministers (GMs) and Peer Ministers (PMs) help to create an atmosphere that supports students in building friendships with their peers and growing in their relationships with God.
Ministering to Our Residents and Peers
Graduate Ministers live in first-year halls and offer a “ministry of presence" as they go door-to-door, getting to know students and offering a welcoming space to connect.
Peer Ministers offer hospitality and opportunities to build community and share faith after Sunday evening masses and during each week throughout campus.
Both Grad Ministers and Peer Ministers host events and programs that promote community building, meaningful connection, and faith sharing, particularly through JOURNEY Small Groups for First-Year Students. They strive to create an atmosphere of acceptance and open-mindedness geared towards making every student at Villanova feel welcome, known and loved.
Whether it's small group sharing, bake nights, or one-on-one conversations, Villanova's Grad Ministers and Peer Ministers are here for you!
Meet the Ministers
Graduate Ministers and Peer Ministers are tight-knit communities of Villanova students striving to live out the Gospel, ready to welcome students from all walks of life.
