INDIVIDUAL COURSE STUDENTS
- Students interested in taking undergraduate courses as non-matriculated students, or
- Students interested in taking prerequisites for a graduate program, or
- Students interested in taking credit courses for personal development.
Villanova's College of Professional Studies welcomes learners of all ages who want to continue learning, even if it's not as part of a degree or certificate program. Students can apply to enroll in individual courses at Villanova if they have completed at least 15 college credits and demonstrated strong academic performance. Individual course students are limited to 9 credits.
Application Requirements:

- Academic Transcripts: Can be uploaded to your application or sent directly to CPS at cps.info@villanova.edu.
- $50 Application Fee

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
- High School Application (Post-secondary education section - write High School name)
- Parent Permission Letter stating permission to take classes at Villanova
- High School Permission Letter stating permission to take classes at Villanova, from Guidance Counselor or Principal
- Academic Transcripts: Can be uploaded to your application or sent directly to CPS at cps.info@villanova.edu.
CPS Tuition Rates Note: pre-payment is required in order to register for one 3 credit approved course.
The pre-payment reflects enrollment in a 3-credit course. Additional payment will be required if enrolling in a 4-credit course.
Villanova University is offering the Pre-College Summer Academy, an innovative pre-college academic experience. The courses offered in the program are specifically relevant to rising 11th and 12th-grade high school students and incoming college freshmen who will be experiencing college in the next couple of years.
Students take a one (1) credit workshop to learn about college life and academics, as well as a three (3) credit course chosen from options selected to best prepare young students for higher education.
VISITING STUDENTS
Students currently seeking a degree at another college or university who wish to take undergraduate courses at Villanova during fall or spring semesters and transfer them back to their home college.
Visiting students can apply to enroll in courses at Villanova if they have completed at least 15 college credits*** and demonstrated strong academic performance. Visiting students are limited to 9 credits.
Application Requirements:
- Individual course application Select "Dean's Permission" within the application.
- Academic Transcripts: Can be uploaded to your application or sent directly to CPS at: cps.info@villanova.edu.
- Home University Permission Letter stating that the applicant is approved to take undergraduate classes in the intended semester and is in good academic and disciplinary standing.*, **
*We recommend that applicants get course approval from their home institution for transfer
**If student is on medical leave, we require a letter from a physician stating they are in good health to take undergraduate courses at Villanova.
***If a student has NOT completed 15 college credits, we require a High School transcript as well.
