The Advanced Human Resources course delves into the complexities of balancing the employee and employer perspectives, offering HR professionals the tools and insights to lead transformative HR initiatives. Designed for experienced HR leaders, this course will teach you how to influence business outcomes and drive organizational excellence through strategic HR practices. You'll learn to implement a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy that attracts, retains and motivates top talent while aligning with your organization's vision and HR philosophy.

Throughout the course, you will explore the critical elements of Total Rewards, from crafting and communicating a compelling Employment Value Proposition (EVP) to addressing employee and manager concerns. The course emphasizes practical strategies to measure the impact of Total Rewards initiatives and improve manager and employee satisfaction with compensation, benefits and rewards programs. You will also learn to evaluate and ensure that your organization’s HR practices align with company values, drive engagement and mitigate financial and reputational risks.

By the end of the course, students will be equipped to diagnose their organization’s HR and Total Rewards philosophy, apply best practices for managing employee relations and lead the implementation of high-impact HR strategies that foster a thriving workplace culture.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of company benefits and rewards programs to improve employee and manager satisfaction.
  • Address engagement issues and coach managers to take action on survey and focus group feedback.
  • Implement strategies that align Total Rewards with business goals and drive organizational success.
