Design for Six Sigma
Design for Six Sigma is a course focused on DFSS (Design for Six Sigma), a structured methodology used to design new products, processes or services with high quality.
Beginning with a discussion on the challenges faced during product and process design, students will learn how to categorize the Six Sigma concepts as they apply to DFSS. Further, students will learn about methodologies used in DFSS, including DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, and Verify) and IDDOV (Identify, Design, Develop, Optimize, and Verify).
This course teaches skills to become a strong project manager, with a special emphasis on defining scope, scheduling, key project management tools, and closing out a project.
