Mastering federal contract management is essential for professionals navigating the complexities of government procurement. This course provides a comprehensive overview of the federal acquisition process, focusing on both pre- and post-award contract management for complex, noncommercial acquisitions. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and best practices in government contracting, key competencies for those preparing for the Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) certification. The course covers essential topics such as contracting methods, contract negotiations, cost estimating and price analysis, small business programs, contract audits and dispute resolution.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Manage all facets of federal contracts, from solicitation requirements to administration and termination.
