STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

The AI in Business Society is a student organization in formation at VSB focused on helping students understand and apply artificial intelligence in business contexts. The Society will emphasize practical, responsible AI use across areas such as accounting, finance, analytics, marketing, consulting, entrepreneurship, and business technology. Through workshops, speaker events, AI clinics, and cross-disciplinary programming, the Society will help students build workplace-relevant AI skills while emphasizing ethical use, sound judgment, privacy, transparency, and Villanova’s values of Veritas, Unitas, and Caritas. The Society is expected to complete the formal recognition process during the fall 2026 semester and will be officially recognized in spring 2027.

Alpha Kappa Psi is a Professional Co-ed Business Fraternity founded in 1904 with the purpose of developing its members into principled business leaders. Originally founded by 4 men at New York University, the professional organization now has over 298,000 initiated members at 219 universities in 4 countries. Alpha Kappa Psi has grown to be the oldest and largest business fraternity in the world! With an extensive network of alumni, members are able to land opportunities at some of the most profitable companies in the world. 

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics is the world’s leading professional society in the field of aerospace science, engineering, and operations. The goal of this student branch is to foster camaraderie among students who are interested in aerospace while supporting teams competing in AIAA events.  We also look to make connections with surrounding companies such as Boeing to better understand Aerospace engineering outside the classroom.

Villanova Chemical Engineering students are all invited to join this student chapter of this national professional organization. Membership is free and can be done using the national website.

American Society of Civil Engineers is an international professional organization that connects our Villanova Chapter Members to other professionals already in the civil engineering field. We encourage our members to explore the vast variety of career paths that a civil engineer can take by bringing in speakers from different disciplines within civil engineering. We provide networking opportunities with professionals as well as other civil engineering students. We aim to provide class specific events such as "FE Study Sessions" for seniors and "Mechanics Test Tips, Tricks, and Words of Encouragement" for sophomores.

ASME is the essential resource for mechanical engineers and other technical professionals throughout the world for solutions that benefit humankind. The goal of this student branch is to foster camaraderie among Mechanical Engineering majors while increasing technical knowledge.

Ascend is the largest, non-profit Pan-Asian organization for business professionals in North America. We are committed to offering our members strategic professional development programs and unparalleled access to key decision-makers and senior executives across a wide cross-section of industries.

VU ACM is a student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). ACM is the world's largest scientific and educational computing society. The purpose of VU ACM is to create a community to foster and bolster interest in computing on campus.

ACM provides students with opportunities for global networking and sharing of resources. VU ACM aims to: bring together students who are interested in learning and exploring the field of computing, make connections within the Villanova community among students and faculty, introduce students to new ideas, and provide students with the opportunity to expand their educational scope.

Villanova Chapter of the global non-profit organization Association for Women in Mathematics. At Villanova, we seek to promote and help our female students majoring or minoring in Math or related fields, but we are open to supportive students of any gender or study! We meet once a month to come together to share resources, experiences, and camaraderie with each other. Our mission is to foster a safe and encouraging space to gain inspiration. Seeing the upperclassmen move on to successful careers, having the push needed from peers, and seeing the underclassmen be the future of women in math fields is such a unique bond the club offers!

The student chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) here at Villanova is committed to the mission of ALPFA. "To empower and develop Latino men and women as leaders of character for the nation, in every sector of the global economy." We do this by providing unique opportunities for our students to connect with top companies. Aside from advancing our mission, we also look to create a community here in VSB where Latinos are empowered to contribute to one another's growth, development, and successes both personally while they are here on campus, and professionally as they look to step into the workforce. As we build one another up, we continue to grow our #ALPFAmilia here at Villanova.

Pre-Law Black Law Students Association (BLSA) will be an official chapter of the National Black Law Students Association that seeks to foster the profession of law among individuals of Black ancestry as well as all individuals who have an interest in legal issues relevant to the Black community. Pre-Law BLSA will strive to meaningfully influence the legal community through various professional, social, educational, and community activities and services. In addition to influencing the on-campus community through various activities and services, members of the organization will be informed of the law school application process, be advised on navigating law school, get informed about life as a lawyer, and be mentored by law students and legal professionals.

The Business Analytics Society provides a medium for students interested in analytics to come together and further their goals. The BAS hosts events that bring real professionals from the industry to Villanova to share their experiences. These professionals provide valuable insight into what it takes to be successful in the field of analytics; they also bring recruiting opportunities to Villanova.

Business in Healthcare Society focuses on the intersection between healthcare and business. Our goal is to expose Villanovans to untapped opportunities within the Healthcare industry, inform students on trends and healthcare knowledge and inspire future leaders on maintaining ethical corporate responsibility.

The Business in Sustainability Society's mission is to promote awareness and educate members about environmentally conscious practices in business to create responsible consumers and develop leaders whose actions align with creating a more sustainable world. While our club is grounded in business ethics, we welcome students of all majors and backgrounds as sustainability is not only fostered by companies, but by their customers as well. We encourage all students who are interested to participate because it is essential that businesses be held accountable for their actions and the impacts they have on the environment. We view BSC as a way for any Villanovans interested in creating positive environmental changes to learn about sustainable practices and witness the potential of their ideas to transform into reality.

The Business Law Society will serve as a way to unite students who are interested in law, or the role of law in a business setting. This group is not limited to students pursuing the minor in business law, but rather is open to any undergraduate student at Villanova University. We help students from all majors with things like preparing for the business regulations section of the CPA exam to acquiring the knowledge to act legally and ethically in future business employment.

The ChemE Car team builds a small car that must be powered and stopped solely by chemical reactions. This car is taken to the regional and possibly national competition annually and competes against a dozen of other colleges along the east coast and Canada. Multiple engineering disciplines have applications in the project, as a 3-D printed chassis and programmed Arduino board are needed to make the project successful.

CLAS Ambassadors is a voluntary leadership opportunity for CLAS undergraduate students who want to help serve and represent the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Villanova University. CLAS Student Ambassadors provide tours to prospective students during incoming student days, assist with educational workshops, and help promote programs and services offered through the Office for Undergraduate Students. We work with freshman to help them through class registration, ways to de-stress, and tips for time management. Through videos and social media posts, we aim to support current and potential students about ways to succeed at Villanova.

The goal of the Villanova University Economics Society is to expose majors in economics and business to the wide variety of professions and opportunities available to them by meeting with professionals in the field. The society is open to all majors (business and non-business) and all students who are interested in the many careers economists can pursue.

Engineering PEERS, in a complementary role with other members of the Villanova community, and without judgment or imposition of their own personal beliefs, will provide knowledgeable and constructive information, advice, support, and feedback to their peers, in order to enhance the overall quality of the student's experiences here at Villanova University. They will act as mentors, tutors, and ambassadors for the College of Engineering, positively contributing to the overall community of engineers on campus.

Engineering Student Council is a cohesive student-run organization designed to serve as the voice of the undergraduate population of Villanova University's College of Engineering.

Finance and Investing for Non-Business Students (FINS) aims to bridge the gap between non-business major students and the finance industry by providing introductory education in finance, economics, and investing topics. The organization offers guidance and membership through career workshops, alumni panels, networking events, and more for students to gain the knowledge and skills to confidently pursue opportunities in finance.

Organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), Formula SAE is a design competition where student teams are challenged to design and manufacture a formula-style car from the ground up and race it against competitors from other universities. At the competition, our car is judged by industry professionals on its design, track performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Every competition car takes a year and a half of designing, building, and testing. Team members are never without a task to do as there are always new problems to solve and improvements to make! There is no greater way to learn engineering than by doing engineering, and that is exactly what NovaRacing is founded on.

The purpose of the GEV Student Association is to foster community amongst GEV students and faculty; to increase awareness of environmental issues across the campus community as well as to provide accessible environmental impact opportunities for GEV students; and to further implement the goals established by the GEV Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee through community outreach and collaboration.

We are a student-led group who love history! Our club is open to anyone and everyone, whether you are someone who is interested in majoring or minoring in history, enjoys learning about different perspectives, or perhaps just wants to meet new people! We are dedicated to learning more about the past and its different perspectives to create a better future for all. We hope to provide a safe space for various opinions, beliefs, and backgrounds. By engaging in thoughtful discussion, as well as academic and public history, we can learn more about each other and successfully enact change within the Villanova community and beyond!

The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) is a club whose purpose is to connect students interested in transportation engineering-related fields with professionals and with their peers. Villanova University's student chapter is part of the Mid-Atlantic Section of ITE, which is a part of the Mid-Colonial District of ITE.  

Our goal is to help give students resources to build their professional skills through networking and technical skills through a series of workshops focusing on software and hardware skills.

The International Business Society aims to bring U.S. and international students together, to host companies and speakers to share aspects of business, and to provide students with valuable information regarding jobs, internships, and study abroad opportunities.

Villanova University’s Communication Department is proud to offer its students the possibility of membership in Lambda Pi Eta, the national honor society for students studying Communication. There are currently over 400 chapters of this honor.

The Math Club is an organization dedicated to promoting mathematical knowledge and study. We hold various events including career nights, colloquiums, and contests. The Math Club is not limited to math majors. Anyone interested in math is welcome to join.

The Ryan Junior Fellows Program is a student-led organization dedicated to the exploration of Political Philosophy and Statesmanship, American Founding ideas, and contemporary political issues.

Villanova University's M&A Society is a co-curricular organization focused on providing students with a profound insight into the world of investment banking and the mergers and acquisitions process. Additional topics explored include private equity and venture capital. The society presents the opportunity to observe and learn through both actual financial scenarios and formal education. The society also provides a platform for regular meetings where members discuss industry trends and current M&A issues, as well as participate in panel discussions. A curated guest speaker series is also organized for each semester to supplement the formal educational sessions.

Mission: To support current and future underrepresented minorities on this campus pursuing careers in health professions. We aim to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and experience that are essential for success in navigating the path to a career in the health professions.  We aim to diversify the face of medicine. Purpose: The purpose is to create a community that shares knowledge on all things needed for application to medical school, while also harnessing the aspects of a network that promotes encouragement and success.  Goals: To provide mentorship, To expose members to the information and opportunities, To encourage and support each other sharing a common goal of a career in medicine, and To increase the amount of minorities in medical and other health related professional schools. Objectives: To acquaint students with a fundamental understanding of the knowledge and skill needed to succeed in the health professions field. While also providing the necessary network to guarantee success here at Villanova and in future schooling. We hope to ensure no opportunity goes unseized.

As the role of Management Information Systems (MIS) continues to grow in today’s technology-driven business environment, the MIS Society provides its members with valuable opportunities to connect and network with MIS alumni and IT professionals from a wide range of industries. Through these interactions, members gain insights into current trends, innovations on the horizon, and career opportunities for both internships and full-time positions. In addition, the MIS Society offers exclusive workshops and hands-on training in industry-relevant software applications and emerging technologies, helping members develop the technical and professional skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

NABA is a nonprofit membership association dedicated to bridging the opportunity gap for black professionals in the accounting, finance and related business professions. Representing more than 200,000 black professionals in these fields, NABA advances people, careers, and the mission by providing education, resources, and meaningful career connections to both professional and student members, fulfilling the principle of our motto:  Lifting As We Climb.  

The goal of the organization on Villanova’s campus is to grant its members access to the myriad of resources that NABA provides to its student chapters, including student-to-student and professional-to-student networking, mentoring programs, regional student conferences, internship/full time opportunities, scholarship opportunities and lots more.

NSBE’s mission is “to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.”

The Villanova University Chapter of the National Society of Professional Engineers will focus on three core competencies: education, career development, and service and social awareness.

Our Mission: Nursing Without Borders (NWB) is an organization committed to addressing healthcare inequalities by empowering underrepresented communities to be self-sustaining. Our Vision: To compassionately utilize our knowledge and skills in the pursuit of social justice by examining the existing structures in healthcare and collaborating with others in the local and global community to educate and advocate for those who lack access to healthcare.

The purpose of Pi Delta Phi is to recognize outstanding scholarship in the French language/literature/culture and to increase the knowledge and appreciation of American students for the cultural contributions of the French speaking world.

The Pi Tau Sigma Mechanical Engineering Honors Society aims help aspiring engineers in their challenging course work through a free and flexible tutoring service.

The PDSA was developed to help students who have interest in pursuing a career in dentistry. The goal of PDSA is to allow students to share experiences involved in the dental application process and connect them to practicing dentists in the area. Another aspect of the PDSA is community outreach, creating and maintaining relationships with those in the community, not unlike how a dentist maintains a relationship with his or her patients.

The distinction between the Pre-Med club must be made. Below is an outline of the reasons the two clubs are distinct. Our goal is to spread the knowledge of this as a potential career for people looking for another route into the heart of health profession. We plan to structure a year filled with informational meetings, spreading knowledge about the difference between PA’s and MD’s as well as NP’s and other medical professions. We plan to help students gain access to the seemingly overwhelming direct patient contact hours. We hope to also use the club to bring speakers to campus, from the surrounding schools, about the various programs available as well as the entire application process. Following in the Augustinian values, we will ensure that community service plays a vital role in our development. The most important objective, however, is to create a community of students who are able to learn from each other as we all recognize that together we can all achieve our dream of becoming PAs.

The Professional Selling Society (PSS) strives to enhance and develop members' individual and team selling skills, presentation skills, and communication skills. This goal is achieved through training sessions, case competitions, and visits from leading executives and sales professionals. Furthermore, networking events will provide members with increased exposure to careers in sales, as well as give employers greater visibility on campus. PSS is open to students across all colleges and majors because the skills taught are relevant to any profession. Join PSS to strengthen your selling and presentation skills, learn to communicate more effectively, build stronger relationships, and discover more career opportunities!

Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purpose of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate men and women who are making the study of psychology one of their main interests and who meet the minimum qualifications.

The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) educates and informs students preparing to enter the public relations field. PRSSA is a subsidiary of the Public Relations Society of America, a national organization that provides networking and educational opportunities for public relations professionals.

The purpose of the Real Estate Society is to offer students the opportunity to learn from real estate professionals, professors, and alumni through various sponsored events. The society focuses on commercial real estate, investment, development, management, and finance, along with providing access to jobs and internships.

The Russell Kirk Society at Villanova University is a student-centered organization that promotes civil discussion and debate on the core principles that facilitate a free and prosperous American Society. Through group discussions and inquiry in political philosophy, we aim to expand the political imaginations of our members and to promote the common good. We wish to attract prominent speakers who will help to start conversations on campus that motivate students to use their intellect in pursuit of truth. The Russell Kirk Society is ultimately an instrument of virtue on campus, consistent with Villanova’s mission of Truth, Unity, and Love.

The Sigma Delta Pi National Spanish Honor Society is a society formed to acknowledge superior scholastic performance in the field of Spanish language, literature, and culture, and is open to membership at institutions of higher learning in the United States and Canada. The Society encourages college students to acquire a greater interest in, and a deeper understanding of, Spanish culture, art, and history. The organization recognizes outstanding undergraduate scholarship in the field of Spanish by awarding annually the Sigma Delta Pi Award for Scholarship.

SASE is a professional, cultural, and social organization on campus geared toward preparing Asian heritage scientists and engineers for success in the global business world. SASE works to celebrate diversity on campuses and in the workplace. We provide opportunities for members to make contributions to their local communities.

Villanova's SHPE was officially reinstated January 2016.  We are continuously looking for driven, creative and passionate individuals to become part of "la familia".  The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers promotes professional awareness by means of social and intellectual interactions on campus, within our qualified region and nationally.  We strive to increase the number of Hispanic and minority students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields (STEM).  Additionally, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive community while promoting cultural awareness.  

The Society of Women in Financial Training (SWIFT) provides female students with an avenue to explore their passion for finance in a welcoming and educational environment, along with exposure to the financial industry and future career opportunities.

The Society of Women of Color strives to provide an inclusive space for women of color pursuing careers in business. The purpose is to leverage members to success through a strong community that supports and grows with one another. We strive to create an equitable environment in which women of color can find friendship, mentorship, and support for academic and professional success. We also wish to cultivate a community that embraces our magnificence as women of color and feel proud of who we are!

An organization for students looking to pursue a career in Speech, Physical, or Occupational Therapy. Students will come together to discuss current events in their career fields, learn about relevant courses at Villanova, participate in service opportunities related to the therapy field, listen to presentations from professionals in the field, and discover graduate programs at nearby schools. Students will also work closely with LEVEL, another organization on campus which seeks to level the playing field for students of all abilities.

SNAP-Villanova is the base for professional identity development and growth of Villanova's nursing students. SNAP-Villanova is dedicated to service, mentoring, friendship, and networking. It is widely known as one of the most active chapters nationally.

Tau Beta Pi is the only engineering honor society representing the entire engineering profession. Our honor society members represent the top 1/8 of their junior class and the top 1/5 of their senior class. Invited members exemplify both academic success and professional integrity. Our mission is to recognize academic achievement, promote a well-rounded education, provide opportunities for leadership development and lifelong learning, and cultivate a community of high achievers.

The Business of Fashion Society is a club that welcomes any and all students interested in careers in fashion, beauty, and retail, and having intellectual conversations about these industries. We strive to educate our members on important news and trends while encouraging group participation and opinion sharing. We also hope to provide valuable connections to build students' networks and enable them to understand the career paths possible within fashion, beauty, and retail. BOF holds monthly general body meetings to update members on key industry news, upcoming events, and open internship opportunities. Additionally, BOF plans a variety of events including one-on-one speakers, company office visits (treks), and panels. We encourage students to join if they are interested in learning about and discussing all things fashion, beauty, and retail.

The goal of the Villanova Undergraduate Nursing Senate (UNS) is to spark change in the Villanova Nursing community and hear the concerns of the nursing students and faculty who consider Driscoll Hall their home. UNS participates in many college- and university-wide activities. In the past year, we hosted a collaboration Nursing Organization water ice social to celebrate Inclusion Week. We also host a faculty and student ice cream social at the end of the academic year.

The Venture Capital Club serves as the student investment team behind the Villanova Venture Capital Fund, one of the few undergraduate student-managed venture funds in the country.

Members partner closely with an alumni advisory board to source, evaluate, and invest in high-potential early-stage startups in exchange for equity. Students lead core investment functions including deal sourcing, due diligence, and investment recommendations, while gaining hands-on experience supporting portfolio companies as they grow toward acquisition or IPO.

The fund is focused on sports and health technology as well as emerging technologies and brings together students from across the university including business, engineering, computer science, and the life sciences to collaborate on real investment decisions.

The Accounting Society allows students to explore this field of study, as well as career opportunities that are available in the workplace. There are weekly meetings that include visits from accounting industry professionals, career counselors, and alumni. Society members attend special events and participate in office visits at accounting firms and corporations near Philadelphia and New York.

The Blockchain Club is Villanova’s only campus organization dedicated to learning, research, and building projects related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies. The goal of the Blockchain Club is to provide a common space and campus resources for students interested in current events and real-world applications of these new technologies. On top of regular meetings, the Blockchain Club holds guest speaker events and attends conferences.

The Business in Entertainment Society serves as a resource for Villanova students of diverse academic backgrounds who are interested in exploring a career in the entertainment industry.

NovaCANE stands for Villanova Community Action by New Engineers. The mission of NovaCANE is to contribute to the local community by serving needs within the realm of engineering. We specialize in running after-school programs at middle and elementary schools where we engage students in educational engineering presentations and activities. We are also working to create a free website database of educational materials and videos for educators and parents.

The mission of the Villanova Consulting Group (VCG) is to develop the next generation of business leaders and management consultants. VCG’s goal is to make students aware of what consultants do, the different types of consulting, and career paths that consulting can ultimately lead to. The club will hold weekly meetings to generate interest in consulting at Villanova. The club will also bring in guest speakers, develop a professional mentorship program, and spearhead a consulting case interview preparation program to give club members a competitive advantage in the job market. Once the VCG is established, its secondary purpose will be to provide value-added services to on-campus organizations as well as local businesses.

Villanova CubeSat Club aims to get community members involved in space science, particularly related to CubeSats. Cubic Satellites are small satellites that only serve a few functions, and the clubs overall goal is to launch Villanova's very own cubesat. This club focuses on student-led learning and projects, and members can expect to learn something new every meeting. Activities include: monitoring our ground station, launching weather balloons, decoding telemetry, running cubesat simulations, and much more!

Working closely with the Villanova Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Villanova Entrepreneurship Society educates and creates opportunities for the Villanova community in entrepreneurship and new ventures.

The Villanova Finance Group (VFG) is the parent organization for Villanova’s three main finance societies: The Villanova Wildcat Fund, Mergers & Acquisitions Society and SWIFT (Society for Women in Financial Training). VFG is a four-year club that is open to all students regardless of major and hosts events and speakers designed to introduce students to the wide array of career opportunities within the field of Finance.

The Villanova Marketing Group strives to provide our members with the best understanding of marketing as a whole and specifically where they will fit in within the industry. This goal is achieved through marketing-related events, which may include hearing from marketing professionals or even visiting the sites of successful businesses. Our goal is also achieved through our consulting teams, which provide marketing support to real-world clients. This allows us to touch our community and provide real-world experience to our members. Join VMG to learn about the different aspects of marketing, interact with professionals, network, discover job & internship opportunities, and so much more!

It shall be the function of the Villanova Physics Club to act as the official physics society of Villanova University. The organization has as its purpose the appreciation and understanding of physics in accordance with the precepts set forth in this Constitution; therefore, it shall perform any duties and fulfill any responsibilities which serve this purpose.

The purpose of the Villanova University Pre-Law Society is to promote a better understanding of the field of law to interested students. The Society also provides information about law school admissions, the law school admissions test, and legal opportunities. The Society is open to students of all majors, interests, and backgrounds, as any type of student is able to explore a potential future in law or legal-related fields.

The Pre-Medical Club is an organization dedicated to educating and supporting pre-med students. We host panels, engage in service, and promote bonding. We seek to be a community to support each other through this challenging journey.

The Villanova Sports Analytics Club is an inclusive group in which students are encouraged and given the opportunity to express their passion for sports in many different forms. This includes analytics and data science, debate, discussions, and many other fun events and activities. We hope to create opportunities and prepare students for careers in sports through staying up to date with the sports world, professional development events, and attending conferences.

The Villanova Society of Actuaries aims to combine a group of like-minded students in pursuit of similar, yet individualized, goals towards an actuarial science career. We welcome anyone interested in statistics, math, finance, business, or analytics who wants to explore career opportunities in actuarial science. Members of all experience levels are encouraged to join us to access actuarial exam study resources, networking events, and gain valuable insights into this dynamic and rewarding career path.

VITA is an organization that certifies volunteers to be Basic Level income tax assistants with the IRS, enabling them to provide free tax preparation services to low-income families, the elderly, non-native English speakers, and persons with disabilities. VITA at Villanova allows student volunteers to complete this training, provide these services throughout the Philadelphia community, and host an on-campus tax clinic to support Villanova students.

VSB Ambassadors are knowledgeable and dedicated business student volunteers who convey their Villanova pride and represent VSB to prospective students and families, answering questions and addressing concerns, at various events throughout the year.

Peer Advisors are an integral part of the VSB advising team, which is composed of the Clay Center advisor, peer advisor, and faculty advisor. Peer advisors are junior and senior business students, selected through a rigorous application and interview process, who support VSB students throughout their freshman and sophomore years. Peer advisors complete a comprehensive training program that equips them with the knowledge, resources, and tools to support their advisees as they settle into college life and navigate their freshman year and beyond.

VSB Peer Tutors is a volunteer organization of VSB juniors and seniors dedicated to supporting the academic success of their VSB classmates. Tutors provide weekly office hours and individual tutoring throughout the semester for all VSB core business classes. Participation in VSB Peer Tutors is by invitation in acknowledgment of a student's excellent academic record; tutors complete a comprehensive training program and maintain a minimum 3.5 overall GPA.

The Pre-Vet Club is designed for aspiring veterinarians and animal enthusiasts interested in a career in animal care or veterinary medicine. Our club offers a range of resources, including guest lectures from industry experts, hands-on animal care opportunities, and volunteer opportunities at local shelters and clinics. Members also receive guidance on veterinary school applications and benefit from a network of peers with similar professional aspirations. The Wildcat Fund is a student-run equity fund that provides a unique hands-on learning experience for VSB students pursuing careers in financial services, specifically sales & trading, investment banking, and asset management. As a member of the Wildcat Fund, students apply what they learn in class and engage in analytical decision-making, teamwork, entrepreneurship and leadership. A team of 24 student portfolio managers oversee every aspect of this socially responsible, long-only, equity fund. Students begin training as analysts, learning the basics of portfolio management in Villanova Investment Academy’s training program. While honing their skills, students grow into sector-specific roles by pitching and covering companies within the fund. As a fully student-led fund, all investment decisions are made by the student portfolio managers for each of the 11 GICS sectors. Thanks to the initial investment made by a group of VSB alumnus over 15 years ago, VSB embraced socially responsible investing well before its recent rise in popularity. Today, the Wildcat Fund continues to follow the guidelines for ethical financial stewardship as outlined by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

The Villanova Women in Business Society was founded in 2005. Open to all students, the society is aims to create opportunities for growth and learning regarding issues that women may face in the business world.

We believe that:

Though it is easy to spark conversation among like-minded individuals, our work on campus is meant to encourage those who think differently than us about migration and human rights. 

There are multiple causes and consequences for migration and tackling this issue entails addressing a variety of factors such as women’s rights and reproductive justice, systemic poverty and corruption, LGBTQ+ violence, racism and xenophobia, etc.

Advocacy, service, and fundraising work in tandem.

Those who have never had to question the concept of “home” have a responsibility as global citizens and social beings to stand in solidarity and advocate for those who question it on a daily basis.

Human dignity is inherent and inalienable and as such, every single being deserves to enjoy all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Real Talk dialogue sessions: “For students, by students”, the Real Talks are weekly student-led dialogue sessions on various social justice topics. Always centered on the student experience, these sessions foster conversations on a diverse range of issues as they relate to student efforts in advocacy, activism, and social justice education. Through the Real Talk program, student facilitators can earn a certification as a Diversity Peer Educator.

Touch of Diversity performance series: Bringing the experience of social justice to the stage, we host short plays on issues of social identity in an effort to broaden the understanding of student experiences with discrimination, harassment, and exclusion both in the classroom and in social contexts. All of our performances are written, produced, directed, and performed by our members who also serve as facilitators for the post-performance small group discussions.

Learning Edge workshops: Reaching out to the Villanova community, we offer workshops modeled after our own programs for any campus organization interested in using group dialogue and performance as tools for social justice education. Past Learning Edge workshops have been hosted in collaboration with the Office of Campus Ministry, the Office of Residence Life, and the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.

Training institutes: Emphasizing our commitment to both education and practice, we host major training workshops for our members and the greater Villanova community in inter-personal communication skills, techniques for facilitating small-group dialogue, and theater for social change.

Back on My Feet (BoMF) is a national nonprofit organization that empowers people experiencing homelessness and addiction to transform their lives and achieve self-sufficiency through the power of running, community, and support services. The Villanova chapter organizes weekly service trips to run/walk at a BoMF site in South Philadelphia, fundraises for BoMF through events such as an annual 5K run/walk on campus, and builds community through a variety of other activities and advocacy initiatives.

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Ambassadors are trained by and maintain a close working relationship with CRS, the third largest U.S. international private relief and development agency. The Ambassadors gain in-depth knowledge on Fair Trade, Food Security, Climate Change, Global Health, Immigration, and Peacebuilding. In turn, the CRS ambassadors educate, resource, and contribute to existing student organizations, university programming, and also generate new initiatives on these issues in their faith-based advocacy work.

Our group looks to raise awareness and spark meaningful conversation in the athletics community around the topic of mental health. Through highlighting resources available to Villanova student-athletes to conversations checking in with one another, our goal is to make the mental side of the game just as important as the physical. We run various events on campus, serve as the theme for games throughout the year, and culminate in a mental health week each semester. This is a student-athlete run organization that works directly with Villanova Athletics administration to help spark change.

GSJI's mission is to uplift and improve the conditions of all people.

Started in 1975 by Father Ray Jackson and a group of Villanova students, Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is now at over 500 campuses and communities nationwide! As a planning committee, we strive to uphold the pillars of education, advocacy, and service as we work towards our goal of 0 people affected by hunger and homelessness. 

IfYoureReadingThis.org is a mental health nonprofit that empowers students to build and tap into their support networks by amplifying the faces and voices of the people who want to connect. Our mission is to create community around mental health, encourage radical empathy, and use peer support to bridge gaps in mental health resources.

LEVEL helps to bridge the gap between the non-disabled community and the disabled community. LEVEL aims to change the campus community interaction with the goal of being inclusive to all. Through education and teamwork, those involved will learn how to effectively communicate and interact with each other through the establishment of a student network providing help in and out of the classroom. Through advocacy events with other organizations, on and off-campus social events, homework and social gatherings, and small friendships, LEVEL aims at fostering a safe and inclusive campus community. Throughout the year, LEVEL raises awareness by hosting speakers, having movie screenings, and putting together events; most notably our annual fundraising event: Casino Night. LEVEL is also a registered service site for the Service Learning Community. Students involved in SLC dedicate hours to working with disabled students with organizational skills, social interaction, and school work. Non-SLC students can also work with students registered with the Office of Disability Services through our LEVEL Hours program.

MedicZero seeks to focus on emergency medicine and raising bystander awareness as well as providing a space for students to engage in medicine through current research, new developments in the field, case studies, and emergency simulations.

Medlife Chapters are dynamic student groups that offer students a rewarding opportunity to volunteer with an international nonprofit, build leadership skills, and most importantly, empower low-income communities through medicine, education, and development. Joining a MEDLIFE Chapter can offer numerous benefits for anyone interested in global health, community development, and making connections on their campus. Joining a MEDLIFE Chapter allows you to actively contribute to global health initiatives, gain a global perspective, develop valuable skills, build connections, and be part of a supportive community—all while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

A space for men to discuss mental health issues, share experiences, reduce stigmas, and understand how to effectively help one another and themselves.

One Love is a national nonprofit leader in educating young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships. We want to educate Villanovans through workshops/events; empower them to identify relationship violence; and learn how to love and respect one another better. 1 in 3 women, 1 in 4 men, and 1 in 2 trans or non-binary people will be in an abusive relationship during their lifetime. Girls and young women between the ages of 14-24 experience intimate partner violence at a rate that is nearly triple the national average. As college students, we are all part of the age group that is most affected by relationship violence. Unhealthy relationship behaviors often go unrecognized because most young people do not have the tools to identify it, and we want to change that at Villanova.  At Villanova we will strive to utilize our workshops to promote peer-to-peer discussions, which in turn start and provoke life-changing conversations. One of the most popular tools that One Love uses to reach students, involves the 90-minute Escalation workshop. All student athletes are required to participate in the workshop their sophomore year at Villanova. As an active club at Villanova, we want to go beyond this and bring several additional workshops to all Villanova students.

The mission of a Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Club at Villanova University, is to assemble a team of passionate advocates and allies to act as an open peer outlet to Sexual Assault survivors. The Club will hold workshops, open discussions, an anonymous messaging system, and will be trained to work with victims of Sexual Assault. The Club will focus on educating students on sensitive topics of abuse and assault, as well as establish a safer presence on campus one student at a time.

Members of STF campus chapters work together with STF Scholars around the world to learn about issues affecting women and girls globally. Our local partner organizations connect with STF and each other in a knowledge-sharing network that makes them more powerful than any single one could be alone. And each and every day, donors like you lend their support to ensure the movement doesn’t stop until every girl, everywhere, graduates with a degree that gets her where she wants to go.

Our purpose is to create opportunities and spaces on campus for meaningful conversations on topics related to reproductive issues in order to raise awareness and allow varying opinions to be explored in a respectful, caring manner. The goal of The Space is to be a facilitator through which students and Villanova community members can engage in open and respectful dialogue and education about reproductive justice.

The Villanova Chapter of Students Demand Action is dedicated to upholding the foundational principles of our esteemed institution while advocating for responsible gun ownership and the reduction of gun violence in our community and beyond.

We are Villanova's official environmental group.  We conduct weekly meetings where we discuss our current initiatives.  Past initiatives have included banning Styrofoam on campus, organizing days of services for cleaning public areas, planting trees, and hosting documentaries about the environment, the food industry, and other environmentally related areas.  We encourage anyone who has any interest in sustainability to reach out to questions or intent to join!

Operation Smile Club is Villanova’s student‑led chapter of Operation Smile, the global nonprofit that has delivered free, life‑changing cleft lip and palate surgery and comprehensive care to more than 350,000 children and adults in over 60 countries since 1982.    Guided by Operation Smile’s three student pillars—Awareness, Service, and Fund‑Raising—our club mobilizes the Villanova community to advance equitable access to safe surgery worldwide. 

The purpose of ReachOut is to gather students interested in supporting community-living older adults. Students in ReachOut provide social support to older adults who are living with social isolation or loneliness through weekly or bi-weekly telephone or video outreach. The phone calls are meant to engage the student, the older adult partner, and volunteers will not provide any health care or advice. Any undergraduate or graduate student, faculty, staff, or alumni can join. Training is easy and fast, it is low commitment, and it is a great way to increase your communication skills!  Everyday thousands of veterans suffer from homelessness, PTSD, and physical disabilities. As a Catholic institution, we hold a “special concern for the poor and compassion for the suffering.” As Villanovans, we embrace those around us and selflessly prioritize our community’s well-being. Veterans and active military personnel are part of that community. We hope to bring in speakers to share their stories, and to teach Villanovans about the consequences of war. We hope to partner with non-profit organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project and lead campus activities to fundraise for veterans. Lastly, we hope to give students who’ve lost family members and friends a chance to voice their concerns and find a cause worth fighting for.  

The mission of MHAA is to act as a resource and safe space for students to be supported by both their peers and the University Counseling Center. It is MHAA’s goal to ensure students have the tools they need to take charge of their mental health and succeed at Villanova University.

Villanovans for Life is the oldest college pro-life club in the U.S. VFL meets weekly, cultivating a strong community rooted in shared core values where we discuss and learn about the pro-life cause together. This information is put to use on campus, as we regularly set up tables to prompt discussion about abortion. Our mission also extends beyond campus, as Villanovans for Life does much work to share our passion for life in the broader Philadelphia area. Through fundraising, sidewalk advocacy, and service for mothers as well as the homeless, we strive to live out VFL’s core belief: Every life is worth living. Every person is worth loving.

VIDA (life) is an animal welfare group that advocates for animal rights and educates the public on animal cruelties. This very much is linked to many other social justice issues such as the objectification, commodification, cruelty, and violence directed towards animals mirrors that are directed towards humans. We attempt to spread awareness about these issues on campus. We visit animal sanctuaries/farms, watch documentaries, advocate for specific causes, and fundraise, and volunteer for local animal rescue organizations.

By exposing Villanova to African and Caribbean cultures, through fashion shows, galas, fundraisers, and various other events, we can create an open dialogue about the significance of recognizing each and every ethnicity.

The ASA is a student-run organization focused on fostering an appreciation of Armenian culture, history, and heritage through events where students can come together and establish long-lasting connections.

OUR MISSION: The mission of the Asian Students Association is to promote cultural understanding as well as intercultural harmony, collaboration, and unity among its members and the community at large. In doing so, ASA strives to contribute to and enrich the development of the Villanova community.

• To provide a forum for communication in issues of interest to the members and the Villanova community

The CSSA is an organization where Chinese students and scholars as well as those who are interested in Chinese culture come together to support each other in the pursuit of academic and entertaining enrichment.

The Filipino American Student Association was founded in April 2017 in hopes of promoting the culture of the Philippines by teaching Filipino history, traditions, dance, and language to the student body, participating in the greater Filipino community, and providing a place for community and inclusivity.

A student organization, Le Cercle Français (LCF) exists primarily to bring together Villanova undergraduates either studying French or interested in the language and culture of France. In service to our students, the Club proposes activities that promote understanding and passion for the French language and culture.

Our mission is to unite Greek American students at Villanova with the goal of preserving our culture and Orthodox faith, to inform the members of the University about the contemporary issues plaguing Greece, and to represent our club and our university.

The Hispanic society seeks to promote diversity and inclusion in the Villanova community by offering a series of cultural, social and educational events. We strive to create a space where all students may come together and create a home away from home.

The Irish Cultural Society is committed to exposing Villanova students to all aspects of Irish culture from art to film to sports to food and even its diversity of identities whether they be racial, ethnic, religious, etc. ALL students are welcome!

Villanova's Italian Club is a student organization based on the appreciation of Italian culture. The goal of Italian Club is to promote and encourage experiences related to the Italian food, culture, and language. The club is open to all students.

The Multicultural Student Nurses Organization (MSNO) is a service-driven organization committed to providing connections and facilitating relationships within the Villanova University Nursing Community: student-to-student, student-to-faculty, and student-to-community. MSNO fosters an inclusive environment for underrepresented nursing students.  The organization helps underrepresented nursing students develop relationships with their peers, and the Nursing and University community. MSNO encourages the professional and personal growth of student nurses beyond the classroom by facilitating peer-to-peer learning.

The Muslim Students Association at Villanova University seeks to serve the best interest of Muslim students, while educating and interacting with other faiths to promote religious diversity at Villanova.

Slavic Club is a student organization dedicated to celebrating the diverse cultures, languages, and traditions of Slavic countries. Through engaging events such as cultural nights, music and poetry gatherings, film screenings, and excursions to Slavic cultural sites, we aim to create appreciation and community among students interested in Slavic heritage. Whether you have Slavic roots or are simply curious about the region, all are welcome to join us in exploring the rich history and vibrant traditions of Slavic nations!

The South Asian Multicultural Organized Students Association, or SAMOSA, is a student-run multicultural organization. Our goal is to raise awareness of South Asian culture on campus through our events and provide a unique experience that celebrates the diversity of south Asian culture. We welcome everyone to come to take part in our activities, which include dinners and cultural events throughout the school year, along with our annual show that allows various student groups to showcase their diverse talents. We want anyone, whether of South Asian background or not, to feel like they have a community at Villanova, and to offer the ability to see different diverse perspectives they otherwise may not have been exposed to.

The Latin American Student Organization aims to provide a family environment for all students who identify as part of the Latinx community and/or are interested in enjoying and learning about Latin American cultures. We are a support group for each other and a great resource to have on campus. Together, we participate in social, educational, and community service events. Everyone is welcome to join as we open up the doors to great food, music and friends!

The Spanish Club is an academic organization that hosts monthly events where students have the chance to practice and improve their Spanish. Involvement is open to students at all levels of Spanish. The focus is to immerse members to the language as much as possible through recreational activities that foster social interaction in a judgement-free, inclusive space. The club also aims to connect with the academic community through its ties to the Spanish department, encouraging the use of informal exposure to complement formal study.

The UNITAS Women’s Empowerment Group is a group composed of student-athletes, coaches, and administrators at Villanova University with a commitment to furthering gender equity in athletics. We celebrate women's accomplishments, promote initiatives led by women, and actively search for ways to dismantle gender norms and stereotypes in sports and communities beyond.

• Empowering, celebrating, and unifying our women student-athletes.
• Educating the entire Villanova Athletics population (including coaches, administrators, as well as men and women athletes) on how to best serve, support, work with, and compete with the intersectional identities of our female student-athletes.

The mission of the Vietnamese Students Association at Villanova University is to promote awareness, interest, and appreciation of the Vietnamese culture within the Villanovan student body and local communities.

The Indian Students Association at Villanova, VISA is one of the largest and the most active student organizations on campus. Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for Indian students to interact and share the joy of their culture and heritage, and to help new students coming from India. VISA serves to promote the awareness of cultural diversity on campus by organizing cultural and social events. We are a group of enthusiastic people who love to bring the multifaceted and dynamic face of India (both modern and its rich cultural heritage) to Villanova and thereby make it a more interesting place to be! The organization started out as "VISIONS" (Villanova International Students Integration, Orientation, and Sponsorship) in April 2008 as a staff initiative from the International Students Office. In the beginning of the 2008/2009 academic year, VISIONS was transformed into an entirely student-run organization through Anna Farbiszewska and Suktika Mukhopadhyay’s (Co-Presidents) leadership and Stephen McWilliams’ (VISO Advisor) guidance. VISIONS was renamed as the International Students Outreach Society and later as the International Students Organization. VISO aims at bringing together upperclassmen with freshmen students in order to build lasting relationships throughout the international student body. To facilitate their transition into a new culture, VISO upper class students are there to welcome the incoming students and make them feel comfortable by addressing any questions or concerns they might have. Our goal is to provide a consistent platform for international students to meet and interact with each other through organized events and activities. The organization not only strives to promote cultural awareness and understanding among its members but also the Villanova community at large.

The Villanova Japanese Club is an organization that strives to connect Villanova students with Japanese culture and language. Throughout the semester, we host and co-host various events that highlight different aspects of Japanese culture including—but not limited to—food, entertainment, and history. Our goal is to introduce the Villanova community to the rich culture of Japan in a fun, easy-going way. Whether you’re already a huge fan of Japanese culture or merely curious, consider joining our club!

The Villanova Middle Eastern Student Association (VMESA) is a multicultural organization that aims to celebrate the various cultures of West Asia and North Africa, commonly referred to as the Middle East. Our goal is to create a setting where Middle Eastern students can feel comfortable sharing their identity and raise awareness for the diversity of our region and its cultures. We welcome all members of the Villanova community to join us in our events and activities, regardless of whether or not they share a common background.

The mission of Villanova Hillel is to enhance the religious and cultural lives of Jewish students attending Villanova. We also hope to make non-Jewish students feel welcome in the club. We strive to uphold our mission by celebrating Jewish holidays, hosting chinese food dinners, and facilitating dialogue between Jewish and non-Jewish students on campus. It is our goal to make Jewish students feel comfortable on campus and to address as many of their needs as possible.

The purpose and goal of the Korean Students Association is to promote the education and enrichment of its members and the university community with aspects of Korean culture through involvement and participation in various social, cultural events.

VU Pride is a group of students, faculty, and staff working together to help raise awareness and a better understanding about the LGBTQ+ Community on Villanova's campus. In particular, VU Pride seeks to foster understanding of sexual orientation and gender identity and provide a judgement-free environment to promote tolerance on Villanova University's campus.

WXVU is a student-run college radio station at Villanova University in Villanova, PA. WXVU-FM went on the air in 1991 when the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) granted an educational license to Villanova University.  Previously, the station operated on carrier current and could only be heard in selected buildings on campus.  In 1992 the University constructed new studios in Dougherty Hall which allowed us to convert to FM stereo. WXVU-FM broadcasts 24/7 within a 10-mile radius on our FM signal that reaches beyond Delaware and Chester County. WXVU also continues to broadcast online at www.wxvu.org and on the RadioFX app.

As Villanova University's official yearbook, Belle Air Yearbook strives to be a representative and inclusive publication that highlights the best moments of the year - capturing all aspects of life at Villanova. Led by the Co-Editors-in-Chief, Belle Air staff members work together to gather pictures, write articles, and design layouts. Sections of the book include Academics, Student Life, Organizations, Greek Life, Athletics, and Seniors.

Ellipsis, Villanova's Literary Art Magazine, is published annually in May. Members of the Villanova community of all artistic levels and talents are welcome to share their poetry, photography, art, and prose. Ellipsis's larger mission is to expand Villanova's conception of what types of self-expressions can be considered art; if it can be displayed on a page, we would love to see it! Submissions should be sent to ellipsis@villanova.edu, after which the Ellipsis Staff will review submissions and vote for the pieces that make it into the final copy. We look forward to enjoying your writing and artwork!

As a forum for members of the community to have their voices heard and expressed their creativity, POLIS is Villanova's student-run magazine dedicated to ideas, creativity, and the arts. POLIS prints two issues per year: one during the fall and spring.

VTV is Villanova University's student-run media production organization. VTV offers a diverse lineup of programming, ranging from short films and series to news coverage, as well as professional promotional videos for other clubs on campus, such as the annual Freshman Orientation videos. VTV was started in 1998 by a group of students looking to develop a way to expand creative horizons for students on campus. Over the years, VTV has become one of the largest media groups on campus and is involved in many events that happen at Villanova. We accept all levels of experience and fields of study so long as you have an interest in making content. VUTC is Villanova’s on-campus event production group, providing audio, lighting, and video support to various campus events. The Knights of Columbus are committed to forming men into the leaders in the church through our core principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. We are a band of brothers dedicated to growing men in their masculine spirituality and service to others. Our goal is to give men the opportunity to build up and strengthen the Church. The Catholic Church needs men to step up and "Enter the Breach." We are the visible force of men entering this battle, men who aren't afraid to live out their faith. The Muslim Students Association at Villanova University seeks to serve the best interest of Muslim students, while educating and interacting with other faiths to promote religious diversity at Villanova.

Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF) guides students along the path to Jesus Christ through His Church, cultivating a campus community of worship, witness, service, and fellowship and education.

The mission of Villanova Hillel is to enhance the religious and cultural lives of Jewish students attending Villanova. We also hope to make non-Jewish students feel welcome in the club. We strive to uphold our mission by celebrating Jewish holidays, hosting chinese food dinners, and facilitating dialogue between Jewish and non-Jewish students on campus. It is our goal to make Jewish students feel comfortable on campus and to address as many of their needs as possible.

Young Life College is an ecumenical Christian fellowship group seeking to foster and develop relationships with each other and with God. We offer weekly large groups as well as small groups where we look at the Bible, talk about faith, and learn more about who Jesus is and how he influences our lives. APO is Villanova’s ONLY Co-ed Service Fraternity. We have over 100 members in our organization. We are nationally recognized as the Sigma Eta chapter of APO. Our fraternity promotes the principles of Friendship, Leadership, and Service through both on campus and off campus service and social activities.

Back on My Feet (BoMF) is a national nonprofit organization that empowers people experiencing homelessness and addiction to transform their lives and achieve self-sufficiency through the power of running, community, and support services. The Villanova chapter organizes weekly service trips to run/walk at a BoMF site in South Philadelphia, fundraises for BoMF through events such as an annual 5K run/walk on campus, and builds community through a variety of other activities and advocacy initiatives.

Community Outreach of Villanova (COV, pronounced like “cove”) is a weekly volunteer service program for both undergraduate and graduate students that partners with community-based organizations in the Philadelphia area working to create lasting social change.

Participants are able to gather with others from diverse backgrounds around a common purpose, deepen their commitment to service, learn about the social justice issues that underlie the need for service, and reflect on who they feel called to become in light of this experience. 

Villanova's FRN chapter recovered over 3000 pounds of food last semester, donating to those in need in AIDS Care Group in Delaware County (ACG Health). We recover and package up unserved dining hall food Monday through Thursday (@7:50pm) in Dougherty hall, (“Pit”), and Donahue Hall ("Spit"). The process takes at most 30 minutes, so please sign up for a shift with us to help those in need! Join us for a low commitment, high impact club! 

Glamour Gals is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire and organize high school and college volunteers to provide companionship for women living in senior homes. In order to bridge the gap between generations, our volunteers provide makeovers and manicures for women living in senior homes. This gives us the opportunity to connect and share stories with women of a different generation. Our Glamour Gals chapter at Villanova provides an opportunity for Villanova students to serve their community and take lessons they learn inside the classroom and apply them elsewhere. Our chapter works towards this mission by completing bimonthly visits to a local nursing home. This experience allows Villanova students to hear the stories and the memories of the women living in senior homes and open their eyes to the views and opinions of a different generation.

The Martin Luther King Day of Service at Villanova will happily celebrate its 14th anniversary on Monday, January 18, 2021! Each year, MLK Day strives to forge strong bonds between Villanova students and various charitable organizations throughout Philadelphia. Last year, as part of the MLK Day of Service, approximately 375 students volunteered, learned, and formed relationships at 23 different service sites. All of this work is done keeping the message of Martin Luther King, Jr. in mind- “An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity”. Towards this end, the mission of the MLK Day of Service committee is to make certain that each volunteer is educated about the adversity faced by those we serve, along with the truth that together, we can create change. We hope to continue to create this change, both in our local community and in the hearts of Villanova students, in the years to come.

NOVAdance is Villanova’s yearlong fundraising and awareness efforts for the fight against childhood cancer while partnering with The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. These efforts culminate with a twelve-hour dance marathon in support of ending pediatric cancer. The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation was created in honor of the life of Andrew McDonough, who battled leukemia for 167 days before passing away at the age of fourteen. Andrew's family discovered he had a B+ blood type, which then became the namesake of the foundation.

Since then, The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation and NOVAdance work together to fundraise for research, to spread awareness, and to provide financial support for the B+ Heroes, other children fighting pediatric cancer, and their families.

Everyday 46 kids will be diagnosed with pediatric cancer. NOVAdance works to create a world where no child ever has to hear the words “you have cancer” again. The B+ Hero Program at Villanova partners with different children who are battling or have battled cancer and pairs them with different Villanova organizations on campus. These organizations incorporate our B+ Heroes and their families into their lives at Villanova. Rays of Sunshine is a social justice-oriented service organization at Villanova that runs weekly trips to serve at schools and education nonprofits in the Philly area. Our mission is to reach out into the communities we serve with kindness and compassion, spreading light into the lives of others through tutoring, mentoring, or other service opportunities.

The RUIBAL Challenge is is a weekly service program in which first-year students serve K-8 students in Philadelphia schools and community centers through tutoring, mentoring, and building mutually-beneficial friendships with the children at service.

Through attending service, Walking In Their Shoes (WITS) forums, and RUIBonding, students are challenged to grow in their understanding of what service is and transition from service being something they do to service being a way of living.

Service and Justice Experiences (SJEs) are immersion opportunities where students build relationships with other Villanovans and community partners committed to working for change. During University breaks, students, faculty, and staff travel to learn from and serve alongside communities who are engaged in the struggle for justice internationally, domestically, and locally. Grounded in the Catholic Augustinian values of truth, unity and love, SJEs are open to all students, regardless of faith identity, who are willing to think critically about social issues and commit to working for the common good.

SJEs start with five weekly group meetings on campus to build community, engage in social analysis around a specific theme, and share in prayerful reflection. Then, over semester break, small groups spend a one-week immersion experience with their partner community where they gain first-hand experiences of and insights into the lives of people they encounter, take part in service, and develop a critical awareness of social issues.

All participating students must abide by the SJE program guidelines and bring an open mind and heart for the experience. They must be willing to listen attentively, share honestly, serve generously and question passionately. 

Villanova Special Olympics brings together people of all abilities. In early November, Villanova hosts Fall Festival, the largest student-run Special Olympics event in the world. About 1,200 athletes and 6,000 volunteers take part in this celebration of life, joy, and sports!

Villanova Special Olympics Committee, comprised of together over 100 students and Special Olympics athletes, works from March to November to plan Fall Festival and continually works to spread the mission of inclusion on Villanova's campus and in the greater community. The students promote respect and inclusion for people of all abilities through initiatives such as the "Spread the Word Inclusion" campaign and Unified Sports.

The purpose of this organization is to be a group that is solely focused on helping the community and raising money for charity. Strive will focus on educating the campus on important issues, building community, and serving others. Our goal as a club is to emulate veritas, caritas, and unitas to create a club that welcomes Villanova students of all religions, races, and cultures to become one organization that helps others.

The Student Run Emergency Housing in Philadelphia (SREHUP) is dedicated to ending homelessness in the Philadelphia area through awareness, fundraising, and service at Breaking Bread Community Shelter.

Villanova Best Buddies is an organization that aims to promote inclusion and acceptance by facilitating friendships between Villanova students and local adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Our group is mostly event-based with a themed event once every month from September-April. Our events include Halloween Party, Friendsgiving, Christmas Party, Buddies Bowling, and more! This year, we will be adding general body meetings for our student members to educate on what membership in Best Buddies entails as well as how to continue to promote disability advocacy. We have a very diverse group of buddies of all ages and many ability levels, many of whom participate or have participated in other Villanova organizations, such as Special Olympics and VIBE. Our main goal is to create an atmosphere of cohesiveness, inclusion, and fun for everyone at our events.

Guided by the fundamental principles of the American Red Cross and its mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors, the Villanova Chapter of the Red Cross will learn, practice and exemplify humanitarian values, including those of caritas, unitas, and veritas, through mission-related service projects within the Villanova community.

Global Brigades aims to empower 100 communities to rise out of global poverty through a holistic model of healthcare, clean water, sanitation infrastructure, banking and economic development. Healthcare is the first part of the puzzle, and Villanova is participating in the global health movement with their chapter of GMB. Villanova Global Medical Brigades spends the school year raising money, collecting donations, and spreading information about the importance of global health culminating to our end of the year trip to Panama.

VIBE is a two-semester program that runs for two hours on Saturday mornings at Villanova University. Our first semester is 6 weeks in the fall and provides life skills in the areas of basic math and money, health and nutrition, cooking, professional skills, and public speaking. Our second semester is 6 weeks in the spring and expands the knowledge learned in the first semester. This includes social media, money and math, health and nutrition, grocery shopping, career skills, and public speaking. At the end of the year, students leave not only with new knowledge, but a close community of new friends. We rely on Villanova students to serve as mentors and teachers to our VIBE students.

Villanova Refugee Empowerment works to support refugee families and communities in the surrounding region by partnering with non-profits that support refugees, through direct service and support of refugees locally, and through advocacy on behalf of refugee communities. 

Villanova University’s chapter of Habitat for Humanity seeks to promote awareness of poverty and homelessness not only within the Villanova community but in Philadelphia and throughout the country. We believe this ambition is possible.

Maintains a radio station available to all licensed students, faculty, and alumni; educate students about amateur radio; prepare for emergency situations and support members of the Villanova community in case of emergency; and learn through projects and experiments.

We strive to provide more opportunities for students who are interested in art, regardless of skill level, experience, or ability. As a unique creative outlet for all VU students, we host a variety of activities such as painting, sculpting, and printmaking. We also have special events like Bob Ross Paint Nights and Philadelphia museum trips. Anyone and everyone at Villanova is encouraged to take part in any of our events that interest them! Art Club works to be an inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds and identities, with no financial cost to members who wish to participate.

As the Villanova chapter of Athlete Ally, we aim to provide the athletic community with allyship training in order to teach others the importance of equality and provide athletes with visibility and support. Additionally, Athlete Ally wants to provide athletes with community events, fostering an inclusive environment as well as providing the space for athletes to express their support for the LGBTQIA+ community and to be true to themselves as people and athletes. Athlete Ally aims to create a brave space for student-athletes who identify as LGBTQIA+.

Our mission is to end the rampant heteronormative and transphobia in sport and to activate the athletic community to exercise their leadership to champion LGBTQIA+ equality.

Baja Nova adds a new opportunity to design, build, and test a Baja SAE competitive vehicle. This organization will operate similarly to Nova Racing. The big difference is that the Baja SAE circuit uses an internal combustion engine and is built to race on off-road trails.

Baking Club is open to all Villanova students and provides an outlet for baking and idea sharing for all levels of experience varying from making cookies, to frosting cupcakes, to baking cakes, and more!

Ignited by the memory of their late father Dr. Chris Garenani, who tragically passed away from a heart attack in 2008, the Garenani brothers founded Beat for Good on their respective college campuses to support those affected by cardiovascular disease. "Dr. G," as he was affectionately known by his patients, was a larger-than-life personality and a family medicine physician who was deeply loved by his patients and community. More importantly, Dr. G was a devoted husband, father, and compassionate individual who left behind not only their mother but seven young children. As they continue to grow and pursue their careers, the Garenani brothers are committed to making a meaningful difference in the world, helping other hearts Beat for Good!

Blue Key's mission is to create a positive admissions experience for prospective students and their families that accurately represent the core values of Villanova University: Veritas, Unitas, Caritas. This is accomplished through interactions with prospective families, everyday representation of Villanova, and continued efforts to adequately reflect the University in all aspects.

The purpose of our organization is to build a supportive and welcoming chess community at Villanova for all skill levels and for anybody to join. We offer the space for interested members to play friendly matches with others, and we sometimes host in-school tournaments during club sessions. We are always accepting new members.

We strive to create a community where all girls on campus can come together to connect and find a community that shares the same love and passion for fitness. No matter what type of fitness you may enjoy, you can find a home here with Girl Gains Villanova.

Girls Who Code is an internationally recognized organization that promotes female involvement and enrichment in computer science and technology related fields. The organization promotes club, summer immersion, and college loop programs, with 200 college chapters currently. A college loop chapter of Girls Who Code on Villanova’s campus falls in line with the mission of Girls Who Code, whereby the club would be a “program for college-aged women to connect with their peers, build technical and professional skills, and develop networks that will sustain them in school and beyond.” On Villanova's campus, our college loop offers the vast benefits of being a GWC alumni in addition to our commitment to building sisterhood, building leadership, and building your career.

Every Friday, we take 20-30 students to The Gravity Vault indoor climbing gym in Radnor, PA where students can top rope, lead climb, and boulder. Officers meet weekly where we plan bonding events, climb lessons, and fundraising efforts. Emails are sent out Wednesdays before the climb on the weekend. An officer creates a GroupMe with the members that made the climb (first-come first-serve by signing up) to communicate where and when to meet. The main focus is on new climbers looking to have a great time or learn more about the sport.

The UNITAS International Student-Athlete Group consists of students whose citizenship is outside of the USA and is for students who identify as international based upon cultural traditions and practices at home. Our purpose is to provide support and information to each other in understanding North American culture and create a safe space for all who identify as International to talk openly.

We strive to gather for dialogue over cultural cuisine and increase membership and community between one another.

The ultimate purpose of the organization is to provide a place for cadets to build camaraderie outside of the classroom and the military structure. This goal will be achieved by the four main focuses of the club: fellowship, fitness, service, and scholarship. In accordance with the fellowship focus, the Military Science Club will build a group identity by hosting social events, selling apparel, etc. In accordance with the fitness focus, the Military Science Club will host workouts for cadets who want to do more than the Army ROTC physical training sessions in the morning. In accordance with the service focus, the Military Science Club will work with and raise money for local service organizations, participate in campus service events, etc. In accordance with the scholarship focus, the Military Science Club will foster an environment where cadets can seek help with the academic rigors of Army ROTC from other cadets.

We hope that the Military Science Club will help our cadets to live out the Army values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage in their daily lives while staying true with the Villanova values of seeking truth, creating unity, and loving others.

Not affiliated with Greek life, we are a national honor fraternity focused on building well-rounded individuals at Villanova University. We participate in and organize events that display the tri-pod of Phi Sigma Pi - Leadership, Fellowship and Scholarship.

The planet currently faces many issues relating to unsustainable food production and a lack of education surrounding the topic. Plant Futures is a student-led community network based at universities that is broadly focused on accelerating the transition to plant-based food systems at the intersection of social justice, public health, and environmental sustainability. We are part of the greater mission to bring about a more ethical, sustainable, healthy, accessible, culturally appropriate, and efficient plant-based food system. The intended purpose of this organization is to create an inclusive community of plant futurists, enthusiasts, and leaders. Additionally, this organization hopes to engage with others from campuses across the country to build a professional community network, combat unsustainable food production practices, and educate students about the relevance of food sustainability. Ultimately, the organization hopes to bring out positive change for the planet relating to sustainable food production through connection and education.

We are a club that meets to discuss current sports events and strategies/analytics each week and provide resources for students who want to pursue a career in any aspect of sports, including Sports Analytics. We offer a way for students to express their passion for sports and a place where you can have in-depth sports conversations. The purpose of this organization is to bring together a community of people who share a passion for analysis of sports. Our organization provides an inclusive environment for Villanova students who love to talk about sports. We also help students learn how to do their own analytics using data science tools like the R programming language.

The Villanova University Tabletop Gaming Club is dedicated to the appreciation and play of any game that can be played with a table, a box of dice, or paper and pencil. You name it, we love to play it!

We host weekly Board Game Nights where members get together to play more traditional board games ranging from Uno to Betrayal at the House on the Hill to Settlers of Catan!

We also organize groups to play full campaigns of Dungeons and Dragons along with One-Shot Nights involving short adventures for players without the ability to commit to a longer-running game.

Whatever your interest is, we have something for you; from the most experienced Dungeon Master to the newest player with their first character, to someone who just likes to play Connect Four every now and then, we would love to have you join us. All are welcome and there is absolutely something for everybody!

TEDxVillanovaU is an on-campus organization that hosts events with a mission to share ideas worth spreading, spark necessary conversations, and ignite positive change. Through annual official TEDx conferences and student-centered events, we aim to capture the spirit of TED itself: cross-disciplinary and focused on the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives, and, ultimately, the world. We welcome all members of the Villanova community to join as we strive to be an equitable and just organization on campus, aiming to lift up the voices and talents of those who might not already be heard. Our organization is structured with a diverse Executive Board that manages the general body member committees and meetings.

The Nation is one of the largest student organizations on Villanova’s campus, comprising over 1,100 members and contributing generously to the support of our athletic teams and the enormous effort they put forth in representing our school. As the Official Student Fan Group of Villanova Athletics, we seek to incorporate our student fans into more profound roles at athletic events and to expand the reach of our organization throughout all aspects of Villanova’s student life. Primarily, The Nation intends to garner support for our student athletes, while enriching the experience for each student in attendance at our sporting events.

The Theme Park Engineering Club at Villanova University introduces students to the world of Theme Park Engineering and Themed Entertainment. By combining technical innovation with creativity, the club explores how engineering, design, and storytelling intersect to create immersive experiences, highlighting industry staples like Disney, Universal, and Six Flags in their creation processes. Open to students of all majors, the club fosters a welcoming community where members can learn, collaborate, and pursue their passion for themed entertainment.

StriVe is a student-athlete run group dedicated to advocating and supporting individuals who battle with disabilities daily. We seek to provide a safe space for individuals to discuss and understand the experience of people with all disabilities and accommodations (i.e., ADD/ADHD, dyslexia and other learning differences, deafness, blindness, autism, etc.). Building a greater connection and understanding around disability will help us better strive towards justice and equality within the Villanova community.

The Villanova Astronomical Society aims to provide a haven for astronomy enthusiasts, from those just discovering their interest to the seasoned amateur astronomer. We plan an annual trip to Green Bank, West Virginia, home of the 300 ft. Green Bank Telescope. Here, as well as at our regularly scheduled "dark sky trips," members have an opportunity to get to know one another, all while enjoying priceless views of the sky.

The vast majority of people at Villanova have never played pool before, but enjoy the occasions that they do play. Billiards Club provides and opportunity for novices to learn, play, and grow through the game of billiards. The vast majority of players currently in the Billiards club had never played billiards before college, so we maintain a judgement-free environment for people to make mistakes. Some players develop to intermediate and even advanced skill levels, and they're all available and well-equipped to help train new players.

We host multiple tournaments a semester with no entry fee whatsoever and a wildcard tournament for the League Championship Playoff Tournament for the top players at the end of the semester. During non-tournament weeks, we host league plays during which players can play 5 league matches throughout the week.

We seek to promote Democratic values and progressive change both on our campus and in the greater community.

Our Goals as an Organization: To make an inclusive environment for students to share their Republican and Conservative beliefs and promote Conservative principles among Villanova community members. Additionally, to aid in the election of Republican candidates at all levels of government.

The purpose of this club is to spread awareness about cricket within the Villanova community. It is a beautiful sport that is played by many diverse groups of people all around the world, however, it has not really had a presence in the United States. We will not only create an impact for students but also for the Villanova Community. We want to create a club that can be comfortable with each other and have a great time playing and watching cricket together. Villanova Cricket Club will be an inclusive club that is open for everyone to join. We will be hosting games, watch parties, and make sure we want members to have a fun time and a space to play freely on campus. We hope to become a club for Villanova and in the coming days make our team good enough to play competitive sports with various domestic clubs, colleges and more. 

The purpose of the Villanova Debate Union is to provide a forum for people to learn about, practice, and compete in the American Parliamentary Debate Association style of debate, attend intercollegiate tournaments, and help run Villanova’s own tournament. The goal is to instill confidence within the Debate Union’s constituents in public speaking skills, create a safe space for all individuals to voice their concerns on issues that they truly care about, and foster a community of friendship and trust regardless of competitive success. In keeping in line with our goals, the Villanova Debate Union will be open to anyone interested in learning debate. Practices of the Villanova Debate Union typically consist of a lecture on a topic, such as social justice or international relations, or casing, where debaters will write about their cases for tournaments, and a practice round among attending debaters.

• Serve as a support system to people of all levels of gluten sensitivity
• Create an environment that fosters engaging and lively discussions
• Host events that facilitate bonding within persons of the community as well as knowledge of gluten free living for those who do not practice a gluten free diet
• Teach members tips and tricks of gluten free living
• Create a network of resources for members now and continuing years at Villanova

The VLP can typically host a maximum of 200 students per semester. Registration is free and open to all students. Students that attend four of our six workshops will receive a Certificate of Leadership and are invited to attend a leadership dinner.

Topics for these fun and interactive workshops include Attributes of Effective Leadership, Strategies for Influencing Others, Interpersonal Intelligence and Relationships, Effective Communication, and Principles of Ethical Leadership.

Villanova's Mock Trial team competes in several tournaments throughout the academic year. In College Mock Trial, each team receives a case with a set of facts, evidence, and affidavits for all of the available witnesses in the case. Villanova Mock Trial prepares for multiple yearly competitions at local, regional, and national levels. Participants may fill the role of either attorney or witness, practicing a variety of skills including public speaking, analytical thought, and argumentation.

The Villanova Outdoors Club is open to all Villanova students and offers outings for all experience levels, ranging from hikes to skiing, camping, ice skating, paintball and more! Trips are run nearly every weekend, with regularly occurring hikes, semesterly camping trips, and weather-dependent trips (skiing, ice skating, rafting, etc.) on a seasonal basis.

Villanova Spikeball is an organization that strives to provide organized events for students interested in playing Spikeball on campus. Our goals include hosting weekly "Open Plays", hosting and organizing at least one tournament per semester, providing information on local and regional tournaments, and finally a fun and healthy activity for all to enjoy.

Villanova University Anime Club (VUAC) is a group consisting of anime/manga/etc. enthusiasts whose goal is to enjoy this medium with other enthusiasts and share the love of this culture with those who are interested.

This club holds weekly meetings on Monday nights to provide a gathering where members can watch selected anime together. Anime Club also holds weekly socials on Friday nights, including game nights, Anime Jeopardy, and off-campus excursions. These excursions include trips to the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival, restaurants, and karaoke.

An extracurricular activity in which students act as delegates in the United Nations and debate world issues. We attend conferences at other schools where we compete in various committees spanning different issues.

The Villanova Video Game Club is a social club focused on recreation, relaxation, and a sense of community. We get together once a week to hang out and play video games in a welcoming environment.
