2026 Sustainability Conference Submissions

We encourage abstracts from any field related to sustainability, spanning both theory and practice. Submissions can be made for lightning talks, poster presentations, or both.

Authors should emphasize how their work contributes to positive impact in sustainability. Multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches are encouraged. Abstracts will be evaluated based on rigor, originality, and clarity.

  • Eligibility of Abstracts and Authors: Only original work will be accepted. The primary author must have contributed to the work presented and obtained all necessary regulatory approvals, including ethical clearance where applicable.
  • Title: Should be concise and informative, with no subtitles or abbreviations/acronyms.
  • Word Count: Maximum of 500 words (including introduction, methods, results, and conclusions; excluding title, keywords, and authors).
  • Keywords: Include 4–6 keywords.

Presentation Formats

Lightning Talks

Concurrent sessions run throughout the conference, with presentations limited to 7 minutes each. Presenters may also submit an abstract for a panel session, where at least two panelists and a moderator lead a deeper discussion followed by audience Q&A. Panel submissions should include the names of all participants.

Poster Presentations

Held in the Patristicum's cafeteria and common areas. Posters will be provided.

Evaluation Criteria

Abstracts will be reviewed by the conference research committee using the following criteria:

  • Methods
  • Presentation and Interpretation of Results
  • Innovation and Uniqueness
  • Rationale for study and relevance to the focus area, including its potential  application for practical use
