REQUESTING IMAGES
FACULTY AND STAFF
Faculty and staff have access to view all current stock imagery on PhotoShelter.
Image downloads can be requested by contacting the Communications director for your college/department with filenames and intended use for approval. If your college/department does not have a Communications director, you will need to contact Photography at Villanova.
STUDENTS
Students have access and the option to purchase from the Commencement galleries for personal use only. This can be found in the "Events - Purchase Only" galleries.
Students do not have access to stock imagery. Images from Commencement will be made available for purchase and a link will be shared with graduates and families separately.
THIRD PARTIES
Anyone not affiliated with Villanova University will need to contact the Photography team for any image requests.
POLICIES
Villanova University maintains full copyright control of photos, including rights to any images taken during assignment shoots booked through University Communication and Marketing. Images may not be copied, reproduced or used without permission by the University Communication and Marketing Department.
When provided with an image from University Communication and Marketing, you are given rights to the use of the image for an agreed upon purpose. No copyright permission is transferred and permission is not implied for future use.
You may not sell or distribute images provided by University Communication and Marketing or use the image in any way that could be considered defamatory, libelous, obscene, immoral or fraudulent to Villanova University or the Augustinian Order.

All images on PhotoShelter will be up to date within the last four years of stock imagery. For image requests dating further than four years, please consult the University Archivist.
