Athletic Events
Villanova University enjoys a rich tradition of athletic success. Wildcat student-athletes have won 19 NCAA team championships and 118 NCAA individual championships – both tops in the Big East Conference. Team schedules and ticket information can be found on the Villanova Athletics website.
Campus Liturgies
Neighbors and Friends are invited to join the Villanova community in worship on campus. Daily and weekend Mass schedules are available on the Campus Ministry website.
Cultural Film and Lecture Series
The Cultural Film Series is once again proud to partner with the Augustine and Culture Seminar Program. This year’s series explores the cinema of imagination. As Rod Serling said, “Fantasy is the impossible made probable. Science Fiction is the improbable made possible.” Arthur Conan Doyle wrote that “When there is no imagination, there is no horror.”
Films screen in the Connelly Center Cinema on Sundays at 3:30 and 7 p.m., and with a speaker on Mondays at 7 p.m. Admission is FREE for all attendees. Please visit the Culture Film and Lecture Series for a full list of showtimes and screenings. Please be advised that all films are intended for audiences 18 years of age and older.
Falvey Library
Neighbors and Friends may enjoy access as Courtesy Members to select resources at the Falvey Library. Courtesy Membership is free of charge but members must first obtain a Friends of Villanova card from the Wildcard Office in Dougherty Hall.
St. Thomas of Villanova Day of Service
Each fall, the Villanova community comes together for the St. Thomas of Villanova Day of Service to work in partnership with neighborhood agencies to perform service throughout Greater Philadelphia. This annual event builds upon the great service performed during the year by the Villanova community and exists as a unique way to put its Augustinian ideals into action. Visit the St. Thomas of Villanova Day of Service website for more information and opportunities to be involved.
The John and Joan Mullen Center for the Performing Arts
Villanova’s new Center for the Performing Arts is a hub for performances, creativity, engagement, and exploration for the University’s performing arts community - enriching Villanova’s campus and enhancing educational opportunities across the University.
Each year the University’s award-winning theatre department produces a four-play season with selections chosen from a broad range of classic and contemporary plays and musicals. Productions are directed by faculty and distinguished guest artists, and designed by resident and freelance designers. Graduate students, supervised by a full-time production staff, are the mainstay of the production season, serving as actors, stage managers, and as members of the production crew.
Visit the Mullen Center's website for tickets and more information.
