LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
Villanova's Office of Human Resources offers access to many on-going learning opportunities via Learn@Nova, our online learning platform, and through LinkedIn Learning. We also partner with other departments on campus to help broaden our offerings.
We also encourage employees to continue their education by taking advantage of Villanova's tuition assistance program. Employees can use this benefit for an undergraduate or graduate degree or a certificate, including non-credit programs.
We also encourage current employees to explore additional job opportunities at Villanova. Once you have been in your position for at least a year and are in good standing, you are eligible to post for other jobs. You can find current open opportunities in our postings.

Learn@NOVA
Learn@NOVA is Villanova's learning management system for staff and faculty training and development. Here you can find, register for, and complete live, online, and hybrid training options for your training and professional development.
Learn@NOVA also houses Professional Skill Packs -- a growing library of self-paced, practical toolkits designed to help you build professional and interpersonal skills. Designed for all Villanovans, each Pro Pack includes a consistent set of resources you can access in any order. It’s easy to jump in, pick what you need, and apply it directly to your day-to-day work. To access this growing library, log in to Learn@Nova and scroll to the Categories section at the bottom of your homepage.
Additional topics featured in Learn@NOVA include: Manager Training, New Employee Orientation, Compliance, Using the Performance Management System, Harassment Prevention, Bystander Intervention, and Hiring Student Workers.
LinkedIn Learning
Villanova provides all faculty and staff with access to the full LinkedIn Learning catalog to further advance your professional development. Offered through the University Career Center and Human Resources, this initiative is part of the University's Strategic Plan, "Rooted. Restless."
Health Advocate
Villanova University offers our employees access to Health Advocate, the nations’ leading healthcare advocacy and assistance company. Health Advocate offers a number of online courses to help you manage stress, learn about nutrition, and develop a fitness routine among other helpful courses.
Compliance
The University Compliance Office offers a variety of trainings on compliance matters. This includes Title IX.
The Office of Environmental Health and Safety conducts required OSHA training for Facilities Management employees as well as other departments.
Partnerships
Office of the Provost
Human Resources works with the Office of the Provost for the Ignite Your Strengths Initiative, which uses the CliftonStrengths assessment tool to engage the Villanova community in reflecting on and building upon their strengths.
The Office of the Provost also offers programs through The Center for Faculty Leadership and Success (CFLS), which focuses its work on developing and expanding research-informed leadership development offerings for rising and mid-level academic leaders.
