STUDY ABROAD

Study Abroad
  • Students who are studying abroad during the Fall semester will receive an email from Residence Life in October with information about obtaining housing for the spring semester.
    • Students will be directed to complete a housing application via the Housing Portal
    • Housing assignments will be available in early December. Billing will be added in January.
  • If a student is otherwise eligible for housing, Residence Life cannot guarantee a student returning from abroad a particular housing assignment.
    • Residence Life will not remove a student from their assignment nor leave a space vacant to accommodate the needs of a returning student.
    • While every effort will be made to accommodate roommate groups, placement as a group will depend on availability.
  • Study Abroad students, intending to live in on-campus housing, are required to select on-campus housing for their upcoming academic year. The Study Abroad office will notify Residence Life once they are committed to the program and are registared for VAB 1000. Once students are registered in the academic course VAB 1000, their housing assignment will be cancelled for the next academic year and they will be eligible to apply for Spring Only housing.
