Learning Support Services (LSS) uses an individualized approach to support students who work with our office. Whether students need support developing time management, organization, or study skills, or there is an underlying or known disability impacting their academic or overall life on campus, we will help them access the resources they need to be thriving students.

Please note: Students with physical disabilities, neurologically based disorders, sensory disabilities, chronic illness, or a temporary injury are supported by our colleagues in the Office for Access and Disability Services.

Students with documented disabilities who need disability accommodations should register with LSS by completing the Online Intake form through Clockwork.

LSS offers academic coaching to students of all abilities who need support with time management, organization, study and test-taking strategies, test anxiety and more.

FACULTY AND STAFF

LSS provides support to faculty and staff who are working with students who are registered with or doing academic coaching with LSS. We hope to work as a team with faculty and staff to best support our students.

PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

Deciding to attend college is an exciting and challenging time. And getting admitted to the college of your choice is a significant accomplishment. Learning Support Services (LSS) welcomes students with disabilities who are applying to Villanova or have recently been accepted to reach out to us as they are making the big decision of where they want to go to college. We are available to answer your questions about how the services provided by LSS may differ from other universities and what resources are available to support students. It will be important for prospective students to select a college that is a comfortable size and has appropriate majors and support.

Villanova provides students with documented disabilities with reasonable disability accommodations in accordance with the guidelines provided by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Please note: Students with physical disabilities, neurologically based disorders, sensory disabilities, chronic illness, or a temporary injury are supported by our colleagues in the Office for Access and Disability Services.

Students who are applying to Villanova may want to know whether it will prejudice their case or help their case to inform Admissions that they have a disability.

The Admissions staff will evaluate your application the same way it evaluates all applications. The staff wants to admit students who will be successful at Villanova. They will evaluate your chances of success based on information about your high school academic performance, SAT/ACT scores [Villanova University will remain test-optional through the 2025-26 admission campaign (Class of 2030)], essay and school activities.

Students with physical or sensory disabilities with questions or concerns about access and accommodations should contact the Office for Access and Disability Services.
