- Kelly Good, PhD, PE, Named to 40 Under 40 List as Emerging Leader in Environmental Engineering Recognized by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists, Dr. Good combines research, teaching and global engagement to address critical water challenges.
- Jeanne M. van Briesen, PhD, PE, Examines “Wicked” Water Challenges Through Convergence Research Dr. van Briesen, a water systems expert from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, explored how cross-disciplinary collaboration can address real-world challenges.

- Villanova Engineering and Foxwynd Foundation Partner on WASH Initiatives in Kenya Villanova University’s Center for Humanitarian Engineering and International Development (C4HE) received a three-year, $225,000 grant from the Foxwynd Foundation to accelerate the implementation of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) initiatives in Kenya’s Siaya region.
- Villanova Engineering Launches Master of Science in Sports and Performance Engineering One of the first degrees of its kind of the country, the forward-looking MSSPE program is designed to address challenges in human performance through innovative, human-centered engineering.
- Eric Musselman Named Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs Dr. Musselman transitions to the role after serving as chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering since 2020. He succeeds David Jamison, PhD, who has assumed the newly created role of inaugural director of the Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering program.
