- 100 Years After 'Launch' of Aerospace Industry, Villanova Engineering Faculty Continue to Innovate the Sector A century after Robert H. Goddard launched the world’s first liquid-fueled rocket in Auburn, Mass., the aerospace industry is booming, with new technology and missions making headlines every day. Researchers continue to innovate the field and develop new technologies designed to help expand our knowledge of the vast universe. That innovation comes from diverse and unique places, including Villanova University.
- Engineering Student, Two Alumni Receive Fulbright US Student Grants for 2026-27 Emily Curran ’26 CpE and Dally Perez Lantigua '25 CE will head to Finland to pursue master's degrees at the Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology. Meanwhile, Fabiano Moscoso '25 EE will serve as an English Teaching Assistant in South Korea, where he will teach STEM-integrated English lessons and support cultural exchange programming.
- National Science Foundation Awards CAREER Grant to Villanova Engineering Professor The National Science Foundation (NSF) has named Tommaso Cappello, PhD, assistant professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and director of the High-Performance RF Lab at Villanova University’s College of Engineering (COE), as a recipient of the Early Career Development (CAREER) Award.
- Kelly Good, PhD, PE, Named to 40 Under 40 List as Emerging Leader in Environmental Engineering The recognition, made by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists’ (AAEES), highlights rising professionals who have made significant contributions to advancing environmental engineering and science through their work over the past year.
