Villanova’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering equips students to design, build and improve technologies that power modern life—from communication systems and smart devices to machine learning and cybersecurity solutions.

Students and faculty within the department collaborate across disciplines—and with one another—to solve complex, real-world problems through innovative technologies. Specialty areas include biomedical engineering, embedded systems, mechatronics, signal processing, software engineering and more.
