Compliance Program

The University Ethics and Compliance Program (UECP) ensures that the Villanova Community has a working environment that enables each of us to conduct business in accordance with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the law.  The responsibility for adhering to all laws and regulations and university policies rests on each member of the Villanova Community.  The UECP is based on University policies and procedures and the University’s Code of Conduct.

The University Ethics & Compliance Officer reports to the Vice President and General Counsel, the President, and the Stewardship Committee of the Villanova University Board of Trustees. The University Ethics Compliance Officer prioritizes compliance areas to be addressed in Annual Work Plans presented for consideration and approval to the Vice President and General Counsel and the Stewardship Committee.
