Villanova's commitment to sustainability goes beyond the classroom. It is interwined with everything that we do on campus. Villanova has committed to sustainability best practices, promoting environmental ethics, and ensuring that our consituents understand the ecological and socioeconomic impact of their daily choices on the world and on future generations. A steady growth in the number of LEED-certified buildings, more efficient recycling efforts, including significant improvement in recycling construction waste, the installation of hydration stations in buildings across campus, the use of energy-efficient LED lighting, and the purchase of local and sustainable foods by Dinings Services are just some of the noteworthy sustainability achievements to date.
